Better than nothing 😊…. could the varying harvests be influenced by the compost used ?
Sorry you lost the peppers Ivan, enjoy the potato harvest. Thanks for sharing.
Your so humble.thankyou
Sweet cherry pie lvan same about peeps 🍒😁
Every ones a winner 🥔🥔🥔🥔
I cantveven get a pepper to grow but i do have ripening tomatoes still attached to the plant for the first time ever thanks to your advice. Pulled a few carrots and 2 parsnips yestterday as i couldnt resist any longer and was very impressed. Take a look at yesterdays video wen u have 5 mins m8, tell me what you think of em 😂😂
I used to do gardening but never veg then had a break of about 7 years before taking it up again this year. I don't know if it's just me but the compost doesn't seem as good these days. I have tried a good 7 or 8 brands this year and I'm just not impressed.
Anything is better than nothing as far as your potatoe crop and its a shame something has eaten some of your peppers this season all my peppers have been a disaster to small and under developed or totally eaten still on the bright side all the tomatoes are coming along nicely. Many thanks Tim 😊
Little buggers eating the peppers, its annoying when you've spent time & effort but like you said we have to take the rough with the smooth, good little harvest though on ya potatoes Ivan, i think mine are on their way soon to be harvested, rhe foliage is looking a bit sad this past week.
Those would have been beautiful peppers. I'm glad your other ones are okay.
👍👍🇺🇸
Thanks Ivan, it's a shame about those peppers but it looks like you're going to get lots of good ones and those spuds look really nice. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Hi.
Had same issue with some of my peppers. My suspicion was that they've rained on for so long, top of the pepper constantly wet it may have 'rotted' a hole in top and filled with rainwater.
I did harvest one that had water in when I shook it ! Got it in time before it caused any issues though.
Ofc, could also be bugs. 🙂
My aubergine flowers are rotting and going all white before they can at fruit and the one that did was rotten this morning so they are going in the compost!
Hi Ivan. My peppers got red spoder mite, slugs and the odd caterpillar. I had one pepper outwardly red, nice and firm but inside was a different story. It was infested. I harvested all the green peppers and theyre in the frezer so its not a loss. At least you have some potatoes to fit on your fork and that's a plus.
