  1. Gazanias don't make good cutflowers because they close off in low light/night and their milky sap spoils the water. Plus, their stems are relatively short.
Also dahlias are better picked when the flower is just 1/3rd-2/3rd open, not when fully open and already browning. That yellow one you showed will only last 1-2 days at max, par the usual 5-6 day life of a proper one.

  2. Looks pretty. I always love rustic looking things and this looks perfect to me. Also your laugh is very infectious

  3. So pretty, it’s always nice getting back to your “roots”. I started out as a landscaper too and the flowers are always so rewarding. Thank you for sharing.

  4. I'm so confuse!!!! you keep telling us that your carrier was a garden planer. I believed you because you use it as an excuse for not knowing the name of the more basic house plants. Now you are in your elements and you come up with the same excuse "can't remember, I think it is", I'm not a gardener but I know the name of all the flowers that you used in the container… I'm so confuse with your site, can figure out the flavor of the kool aide you been serving us.

  5. The minute she asked, "do you want them?" I yelled yes into my empty bedroom. in the middle of the night. Damn, I wish I was her neighbour who could just pop in and take one off her hands :'(

  6. I think that different colors are very pretty. I like the way you planted them. Than you for sharing.

  7. Save the dahlia's Amanda, they come back bigger and better every year. Lovin that red banana in the backround

  8. Absolutely love cosmos they are so pretty and have FAT FLOWERS they make every garden look ethereal

  9. I’m really enjoying the outdoor videos. I have learned so much from you. Thank you!!

  10. 🤔 ran out of indoor plant material it seems…nothing new on the subject lately/starting to repeat old subjects/material already covered 🤷🏻‍♂️ might be time to un-sub.

  11. Don't forget to give us an update after a few weeks that how is this mini flower garden doing……..I'll be waiting!!!

  12. I love the flowers. I love gazanias but no place in my Area had them this year ❤️❤️❤️

  13. Are those sensation peace lilies next to the ensete bananas? Are they dug up for winter and reused or is it endstage for them? TIA

  14. What do you do with your perennial flowers in pots in the winter? Bring them in? Or do they survive and bloom again next spring

  15. I did this with an even bigger pots on my deck! Zinnias are my favorite to cut! The tall variety. It’s quite the show stopper when they start blooming love it! Amanda I love all of your videos. I know a lot about plants I’m a big gardener but I just enjoy watching and every once in a while I learned something new. I get a lot of tips from you just want to say thank you!

  16. She is! I do the same thing I love mass planting! I just took a hanging pot and I crammed string of bananas coconut crush string of pearls whatever you wanna call them all into one little pot! Survival of the fittest lol I have such a green thumb most survive. They are already pouring out down the sides of my pot. Looks amazing 🤩
