Cuts were sterile.
I did drop the seedling into the soil while trying to seat it on the pere. Oops.
I applied downward pressure and gently blew over the graft area until it seemed like they were sticking.
Using the saran wrap as more of a makeshift humidity dome.

My experience with this style of grafting into Pere is that it’ll need more pressure to make a good connection. Most of the ones I’ve tried grafting with horizontal cuts haven’t ended up taking, I have much better luck with impale grafting. Hard with a little fella like this but worth a try for your next one!
