This is my sad little haul (plus one more courgette that I donated to my sons pet snail 🐌). I’m trimming the courgettes while small because I read here that it stops the plant from deciding it’s done and encourages more courgettes.
I have no idea what’s wrong with the tomatoes and why they have this black spot but I guess we won’t be eating those.
The green beans are GREAT, but we don t get enough at one to make a meal out of. 😂
As for the strawberries…. Small and misshapen.
BUT this is the first time I’ve ever successfully grown anything so I’m SO proud!!! 🤩🤩

you could easily make zucchini bread with that
and then eat a slice with the strawberry
You might google blossom end rot as it’s common on tomato’s but honestly? I’d eat the ones pictured here. 🤷♀️ Maybe leave the lighter ones in a window to finish ripening?
Totally with you on the green beans! Have you read the plants basically die off after fully ripening a pod? Everything I’ve read says to harvest often to keep them producing and to plant additional seeds every 2 weeks for constant harvesting (although I’m lazy so do about every 4 weeks).
This post doesn’t really belong over there but if you’d like a laugh check out r/mightyharvest and you’ll feel much better about what you’ve accomplished. 😂
Beats the supermarket! Good haul my man 🤙
