That’s good you found them home’s!! I don’t understand how anyone could do that!! We just took a kitten home from the litter that was put by the dumpster at my son’s work and I was just down to 6 cat’s from 13 but she is adorable!! The place I get them fixed is backed up all the way up to December! I really need to find a house in the country so they can have a barn to watch!! I would just love that for them!

We are always taking in cats is hard not to help
One reason might be that they make it nearly impossible to rehome the little guys. Craigslist is the worst. I got accused of being a backyard puppymill when i put up puppies to sell. The vet told me to wait to have my male neutered!🤨
Another reason might be that the female gave birth somewhere (hiding), went to get food and you just dognapped her pups.😂
I hate these situations.i don't understand people who can do that
I work in rescue. If people witnessed what I do on a daily basis, they would (hopefully) think before dumping. Anyone caught abandoning an animal should be charged and made to work in rescue as their community service!
Capstar is expensive but Amazing for this kind of situation. (I think you can get something that is the main active ingredients or something for cheaper)
Makes the animals (cat or dog) deadly to the live fleas for 24 hours. (Consult a vet for proper usage for your animals weight class)
Not me over here crying talking about I want them when I have a dog and a cat and a toddler 😅

is it possible a stray mama dog just had a litter and left them when they were weaned? does that happen? I have no idea…I know it is sometimes that way with cats.

Awwwwwwww Jess little Destiny is adorableeeee, their are both adorable, she wants to stay with you, she will be so good and so grateful. OMG I just can't, how cute those puppies are, maybe Labradors? People who can discard a dog, see that precious face and those eyes filled with love and still leave them to their own fate, worth nothing to me, they are not good people and we should be careful when that happen in our neighborhoods, they have no heart, no soul, they don't care about you or anything but themselves. I despise them with all my heart. Thank you sooo much Jess and family, I hope you can adopt her.
Well I expect I will get hate comments , but I will tell you why I did this years ago ..22 , broke moved into a house with no heat and wired with extension cords ! Driving a $50 car ..in 1984 making minimum wage. The people who left the house moved south…they left a 18 year old half blind deaf crippled cat behind…I tried to accomadate her as well as possible ..I was eating mostly unbranded box mac and cheese made with water ,no milk ..sleeping fully clothed because it was freezing..When she delivered 4 kittens…4 months later I paid to have the mom put to sleep ..and took the four kittens and a cheap bag of food and dropped them off near a barn…if I took them to the animal shelter they would have been put to sleep. I thought I was giving them at least a chance I literally could not feed myself let alone all these kittens..nor afford to get them fixed or shots or anything..I have lived with guilt for 40 years…but at 22 in that situation I could see no other alternative ..I tried to give them away ..no one wanted more cats…This is why it happens ,desperate situations..if I'd been older and wiser maybe a better solution would have come to me…
We live on a farm and have had kittens and cats dumped on our property which end up being part of the family. Luckily no dogs or else I’d probably keep them too! I know a lot of southern states transport dogs to our state because there are more homes willing to adopt here.
Thank you for taking those precious babies in and finding them loving ❤️ homes! I've been doing rescue for 39yrs and it never gets easier. Lots of evil people out there😢
Bless you and the family for finding those pups homes. Spay and neuter is so highly recommended and so many won't do it.

That’s how I got my sweet little black cat. She was dumped in our woods. We all have land out here and she didn’t belong to any of my neighbors. She was still a kitten, clean and friendly. I figured that either someone dumped her or she got out. We tried to find an owner but no one claimed her. That was two years ago and we love her dearly. She’s a member of our family now.
I live out in the country, and people dumping unwanted pets is a consistent problem. About a month ago, a male brown tabby was dumped on my property. He is extremely timid of people, probably abused by his last owner. As far as I can tell,. he is healthy. I've been feeding him daily in the morning hours, so he hunts at night. I've decided to adopt him as an outside cat, but getting him to accept me as his human, is going very slowly. He keeps his distance, but no longer runs when I talk to him. And giving him a daily meal keeps him from sneaking inside to steal food.
Bless y'all for stepping up and doing the right thing by those pups. Some people really suck but folks like you give me faith in humanity again.
Somebody left two kittens near our house a few weeks ago. They are the cutest little creatures but my cat is really anoyed with them 😄 Unfortunately we can't keep them, couse in winter we live in a small apartment and there's no room for 3 cats 🙁

Yep. Same. This is one of the reasons we donate often to the Humane Society in our area, because we have sooooo many animals dumped out here in the country. We grab 'em up, take care of them until we have a minute, and haul them over to our HS friends. They do an amazing job.

What’s saddest is that people who don’t get their animals fixed because they can’t afford too, also can’t afford the fees the animal shelters charge to surrender an animal. 🙁
We have had the same issue a few times and rescued some of the best dogs ever .

Thank you Jess for your kind and loving heart, we lived in the country for 30 years, and can't count how many puppies and kittens were dumped on our property. I will never understand those who either can't; have their own pets spade and neutered, or spend the time to find the babies homes. Always dumping them, the level of cruelty is sickning

Just caz you live on a farm they think you want them happens to me all the time ended up with 15 kittens in less than a year

Be careful. Pups could have parvo.
It is sad. I have two beagles from a pharma research facility and one of them still has mental health issues from living that way. Makes me sooooo sorrowful and sad that this (abuse and neglect) happens in any capacity.
