    I had to do a main crop potato because snails had eaten the tops all to heck. They looked like slightly large new potatoes, but they taste just fine. Whatever, still fresh potatoes! 🙂

    I had same out of a bag of my patatoes I forgot to fill up. And my onions are same size as yours.
    The weather is not helping anything.
    I have totally lost my cucumbers to spider bugs. So unfortunately they have had to be pulled up.

    I think the poor plants don't know whats going on this year with the weather being all over the place. I harvested more of my container charlotte potatoes today as foliage had died right back and the first i did, had a HUGE red ants nest in it with eggs and yuck it was awful, the potatoes were big and there were lots but none usuable as had all been eaten away. The next was a good harvest though. We just have to carry on i think, your channel always helps me do that so thank you

    A fellow allotment worker and I have had a really bad harvest of spuds this year so far not what we expected but its been a pore year for weather to hot late spring so on its gardening no two years are the same I pray that next year will be better than this one

    Did you pull all your onions up Ivan? Mine have fallen over too…should I pull them up or leave them?
    Also my main crops going same way.. planning on buying more seed potatoes

    Sorry you didn't get the big harvest this time! We got lucky with a container today – huge potatoes for a change. You just never know. I really appreciate all your tips, I learn so much every time I watch.

    Unrelated to potatoes – would you be able to share what video editing software you use? Interested in trying some garden vids as a hobby/diary as my own garden develops.

    Hi everyone, hope you are all OK. I just wanted to say as this is my first ever growing season and my first time gardening – please please please if your finding it hard and struggling keep with it! I'm now starting to reap tge rewards ❤. I'm now harvesting a few bits every few days. This morning I got 2 really good sized courgettes and enough French beans for 2 meals for me and my other half. I spotted this morning that I'm getting growth on my cucumbers and my tomatoes have very small tomatoes on some of the branches (they weren't there yesterday). I also have some swedes and beetroots that are only a couple of weeks away and my potatoes are not too far off being ready to be harvested. The other veggies I've planted are all coming along too. So please do keep with it, you will get those rewards x
