In 2019, you’ve oohh-ed, aahh-ed, and freaked out while interacting with African wild and habituated animals, including apex predators. In 2020, you’ve quarantined in your own backyard with North American compatriots. In 2021, you’ve put your pandemic paranoia on ice while observing the toughest of animals in the harshest of lands: Antarctic and subantarctic! In 2022, you’ve rediscovered adventure on the opposite side of this topsy-turvy turd in the wonderful land of Oz. In 2023, vagabond on the vastest continent (ASIA) with vertebrate vogue vanes and beautiful brains.
This is an Asian animals documentary, split into viral animal clips of 30 seconds each.
Pride in no ride?! I try to only ride animals if riding is absolutely necessary. For example, at the Giza Necropolis, due to time and distance, I could only view the total NINE pyramids by riding a camel or horse carriage to the viewpoint.
Otherwise, as an animal adventurer and lover, I interact with animals in order of preference: 1) IN THE WILD, 2) at specialized sanctuaries, or 3) at licensed zoos and aquariums. I observe, play, or feed, which are natural behaviors, and I try to never force anything.
The snakes at this specialized sanctuary are medical and scientific specimens, producing bite antidotes. These snakes live humane lives, with plentiful healthy food, etc. Our entrance fees pay for these snakes’ lifestyle and facilitate our direct interaction with these majestic mammoths. To observe snakes in remote, lush greenery is a peak Asian animal experience! Such are animal encounters in the wild and animal encounters caught on camera.

Many countries, even developing ones, you can explore completely own your own or solo backpack, using local public transportation such as buses and trains and local infrastructure such as hostels and guesthouses. The continents of Africa and South America, though, are much harder to solo backpack, because the local public transportation and infrastructure can be unreliable, expensive, or both. Although I’ve solo backpacked many developing countries, even some in Africa and South America, I also pay to participate in tours when tours make more strategic and financial sense.
Despite what you may read, hear, or see about tours, the industry is so specialized that you’ll find a tour to suit your priorities, wants, and needs. The best tour aggregator and selection tool, with also the best prices is TourRadar.com
For 2018, my first priority was having the most authentic and immersive experience possible with Africa’s wild animals and landscapes or “bush camping.” My second priority was exploring as many countries as possible. My third priority was to do this all on a budget. TourRadar.com I used to purchase tours optimized to these exact priorities. In other words, TourRadar.com was one of the secret tools that helped me film all these WILD animal encounters!
