I think I will head out and plant some onions. Sounds like a good idea.
Thanks Ivan, haven't got Florence onion seeds but I certainly will have some for next year. Thanks for sharing.
Ivan i dropped on a great bargain 35 10ft canes for £20
Hi Ivan. I bought some of those florence seeds because I saw that you had them growing in a small container (I don't have much space). The seed packet says to sow them January- April so I thought I had missed the boat. Even my white lisbons only say to sow until June and I thought they were quite hardy so I'm a little confused. Do you just ignore seed packets because you have all the greenhouses?! Surely I can grow spring onions outside in late summer/autumn?
Sweet cherry pie man😁
I've grown shallots from seed this year, I wont bother with sets again, they are looking onion size!
Hi Ivan.
Stumbled upon your channel a couple weeks ago when looking for cucumber videos.
I have only started growing my own vegetables this year and I'm having alot more success than I thought I would.
Really enjoy watching your videos and gaining knowledge that will help me with future growing 👍

I love your videos…sowed some Oxheart carrots the other day and I will do some long red onions this week. Covering them with cling film is genius! Have you ever grown boretanne onions? I bought seeds but I think I missed the boat for this year
Good luck with the onions 🌰 Tim 😊
Thanks Ivan, for more great info' , have a great week. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Hello Ivan, very interesting update again, thank you. You've inspired me to sow some more onion seeds. I sow spring onions throughout the year but I haven't tried sowing other varieties outside of the recommended sowing dates. I'm going to try some. Thank you. Paul
I put a set in recently Im going to put some onion seeds in today.
Thank you!!
I'm going to see if l can some of those seeds, not grown them before, thank you for video. lv got lots of veg seedlings to transplant in greenhouse today, thank you for prompt beginning of July of what can be sown for Autumn/Winter harvest. With all the extreme weather happening in Europe l think veg & salads are going to rocket now in price , so l feel everyone really should now learn & get sowing food. My grandson is over this morning to help empty the last new potato containers., then l can plant something else in them for Autumn. He comes over about once a month between studying as he's off to Uni Sept & says he'll miss helping us. Iv been slowly teaching him veg growing .Hope the interest always stays in him, times are getting urgent now, so thank you again Ivan & keep the daily video's coming.
Jejeje bien
