This film has loads of fishing tips that might suit beginners or novices as GP talks through how he has approached a lake he has never fished before. Float fishing and free-lining he gets fish feeding right in front of him, but he can’t catch any of the elusive species that are bubbling up the lake bed feeding on his groundbait…Then it’s back to the Totally Awesome base camp where he investigates his tree problem. Finally he loses the plot totally as he has been having a constant battle trying to remove moles that are tearing up his lawn. It’s something nobody else should try but Graeme comes from an era of the 1950’s where life was one big experiment as a youngster and the only way of learning was through experience. Remember there was no internet to look up how things worked. It was all books and lots of reading. He made it out alive, but we have yet to hear how he cleaned the mess up…It’s Friday night..sit back and enjoy.

I doubt that will have got rid of the mole, also don't touch the foam until its completely set hard because its horrible sticky stuff and a nightmare to get off your hands and clothing I use it all the time at work and it makes a horrible mess but I'm betting the moles won't move out to another area.
Proper laugh out loud at the foam target 😂😂 ..top entertainment yet again !
TA pest control ?
Try getting hold of Phil Lloyd of Hayling Island a mole catching guru
Reminded me of an old Japer Carrot album my dad had a while back. It was called sweet and sour labrador. There's a story in it where one of his characters, was having amole problem, and all kind of advice was shared around the pub, and a regular old bloke sat in the corner suddenly blurted out, " There's only one way to get rid of a mole, Blow it's bloody 'ead off". And he what on to describe how to achieve that in a very funny way. And the over all outcome of the story is even funnier.
Anyway, I hope you get rid of the thing. Yours truly used to paint watercolours. For over 30 years in fact. Some of my paintings are in high places, like in the living room of an MP, and many of them are in the USA. I never did have any lofty dreams of selling them, I just painted as a hobby. Alas, when over 500 of my paintings got stolen, a large piece of my soul went with them, and I no longer have what it take to create anything worth while. For One of the first ones I did was one of my personal favourites, it was of a perch hiding between some slender reeds, next to a brown ale bottle on the river bed. That was of of those that were stolen. For the most part, I gave the paintings away as gifts. And that got costly when so many were posted the America. If the upcoming treatment on my eyes isn't very effective, the remainder of all the materials used in painting will be is need of a knew home. I know a couple of lovely ladies that live on the south coast that would be happy to get it all. A couple of hundred quids worth of fair quality fit. Last year I rehomed about £1600 woth of nearly new tackle to some younger anglers that had next to nothing and are dead keen. I still have a good amount of gear left, and just keep hoping for improving finances and health to use it. One day, you'll see.
Take care Graeme. TTFN
Never seen so many fish in a swim 😲
Another magnificent, pleasant, relaxing, informative, entertaining masterclass. For me, this is therapy as well as educational.
I so enjoy your style, Graeme. Hundreds of thousands watch, but you have the gift of speaking to an individual, homing in as though its a 1-2-1. In a previous video of yours I disclosed (which was personally difficult and a big step I wrestled with) that, for me, life is a struggle; I have to live with mental health issues and I have to play the hand I have been dealt. Its just the way it is; but I know I am not alone, as everyone was so gracious. People feel amongst friends here, like a brotherhood. For me, the best subscription on You Tube. Oh dear….Im filling up, what a pansy I am 😢😅
Best wishes to you, yours and the wider TA Community
Laughing me head offf imagining your wife watching out the window saying to herself "wtf is he doing now " 😂🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for taking us fishing with you. I couldn’t handle filming and fishing together; when I get to the water all I can think of is wetting the line!🎣 As for the mole/foam experiment, whatever keeps you young! 😀
It took me back to when Jasper Carrot had trouble with moles ruining his garden 😅
You are an absolute nutter….that’s why we love you! Never grow up!
Haha "something wrong with all my trees!" Proceeds to poor disinfectant and expanding foam into his soil! 😂 I got pretty good at trapping moles, got 16 from one garden in a couple of weeks. In the end i gave up just learn to enjoy them it means youve got good healthy soil lots of worms and critters for them to eat. I thought mole hill soil was meant to be really good for ground bait???
How much time did the clean up take Graham, love it 😂😂😂
Omg 😂😂😂😂 how funny was that knew what was going to happen I'm a painter and decorator that stuff is great but a nightmare!!! Try wire wool lot less explosive 😂😂😂
Keep them coming 🎣
Oh man, that foam was hilarious.
This is what happens when Mrs Pullen goes out and leaves Graeme unsupervised!! 😂
I fish a few spots like this here in Oz. Public waters, so no ticket. Great fun for a quiet day out.
Looks a really nice place
Brilliant you have finally lost the plot😎👍🎣
Graham best video in ages 😜
Next week how to get rid of foam off grass
Brilliant. Now was that idea with the foam yours or Smiths?
graeme i thought you was a nature lover not a destroyer of our wildlife ,i am shocked but ill still watch your vids , those trees may or may not recover ,we have the same problem in kent ,some of our trees and hedge rows were infected by some type of fungus or whatever but some have died but many are makeing a recovery ,so lets hope for the best aye.
moles help to drain water away from flooded land surely thats a good thing.
😂😂😂😂😂Soooo Funny with the expanding foam and Mr 22. Exellent. Made my day.
I think the tide has come in!….Hilarious stuff
I'm sure the reason you catch is two reasons:
1. You have experience of many years. That's a huge advantage!
2. You don't take it too seriously, it's about fun and that novice mentality at each water you visit.
Clearly you go to catch, who doesn't? But when it's under pressure surely it affects creative thinking!?!
It's this thought process I encourage with our kids, they often out perform me and I'm totally OK with that.
Fun, fun, fun. Otherwise what's the point..?
Looked like a giant bird had it out for you and missed your car
Great session graeme that was the icing on the cake absolutely brilliant 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
ferret crap is great for getting rid of moles
Great video 👍🍺🍺👍
I live near Wimborne.
Always fun at Todbar.
My wife said 'how can he judge the weight if he doesn't weigh them'? We all know it's experience over many years, but I was in that frame of mind and said 'The fish have their own scales'!🤫 Lovely vid Graeme, as usual, thanks very much!👍👍👍👍👍
Should of just paid the £24 Graeme 😅😂😂now you got a right mess, good luck explaining it to your wife 😁 love your videos
Don't go against it Graham if the moles give you soil put it in a low patch
THE COLD WET SPRING HAS PUT SOME TREES WAY BACK UP TO 5 WEEKS BEHIND THEN THE REALLY HOT WEATHER ON TOP OF THAT AND TREES HAVE SUFFERED ,,IT WAS THE COLDEST SPRING FOR 86 YEARS AND THE LEAST SUNSHINE HOURS ON RECORD ,SO NEXT YEAR YOUR TREES SHOULD BE OK,,,,FINGERS CROSSED THE TREES HAVE BE SHOCKED AND STRESSED ,,
Hi new subsciber here been hooked on TA oudoors, thought id check you out too.
Great video thanks, Graeme it's been around 35+ years since I fished 🤦♂️ I'm slowly building my rod & tackle up again, what type of line would you recommend plz? Not sure on what weight(if that's correct term) to go for. thanks
Kev
Recently went to Todber on Friday on Wadmill, caught 4 carpies. The chaps in the tackle shop are very helpful for how to fish the various lakes. Thanks Graham for putting me onto this fishery, I shally be going again.
Watched your videos for years. Never have I laughed so much at you shooting the expanding foam. Absolutely brilliant, you lunatic
What a grea bit of content. Love the mole experiment, I expect we were all just waiting for that exact result – brilliant!
👍👍👍
Only one way to get rid of a mole… blow its bloody head off. (Jasper Carrot)
You're brilliant Graeme! could watch you all day and night!
If you get rid of the moles from your garden, come here and get rid of them out of my back yard. Them sobs are having a field day back here. I've about broke my neck walking out in the yard. Actually I've got a couple of mole traps, i just need to get something to mask the scent of the steel or the moles go right up to them and then go around them. The people next door have a big ol gray cat that stays outside mostly, he used to catch moles but the last few years I don't know what happened to him, he just left them alone. Oh well, I'll get it sorted out eventually, I'm going to have to or their going to tear my yard all to sh#$! Anyways, hey, good to see you back Graeme, well I know it hasn't been that long but anyway, you know!
