  1. What a harvest ad nice to see "Tom" looking good.
The shallots (and garlic) I dug up one day were starting to split, I noticed, but I didn't know they did that. I put the little ones in a pot with smaller garlic and will observe how they do.

  2. Hi Ivan, that was a massive harvest. I love pickled shallots, is there still Time for me to get a set going to harvest later. Thankyou so much for your advice I very much appreciate you answering and within the day. Small donation Ivan for your help.. I'm finding your vids very helpfull especially as this is my first Yr growing. Thankyou for taking the time.

  3. Hi. Also did my first shallot harvest a few days ago. Planted 4 in a 60cm trough harvested 30. Got lots more to come.
    😃

  4. I set up a drip irrigation system on my raised beds from a 100l water butt. Still needs a water in mornings on hot days, but on cooler days it's a game changer! No more filling up watering cans, half the water just goes into the ground and disperses.

  5. Great harvest.
Will you stop showing off with your 🥒. 😂😂
Don't think i will ever get cucumbers on mine.

  6. Nice one Ivan, great onion harvest, & little tom, I'm chuffed when i see a tomato flower at least i know something is happening lol ..

  7. Thanks Ivan, for this great update, well done for saving the cherry tomato plant and a great harvest of shallots. I bet they'll taste lovely as pickled onions. Take care and all the best. Stevie

  8. What variety of tomatoes are they Ivan? They have so many tomatoes on each, much more than mine.

  9. Great update Ivan, thank you. Your shallots look great. I've grown Zebrune and Red Sun. They're looking good and now beginning to harvest. An impressive set of greenhouses Ivan. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge.

  10. I’m jealous u got cucumbers already lol I just put mine in like 5 days age bc the temps at night were still pretty chilly…same kind to market more 76. And some pickling king as well. Thanks for the video Ivan always looking forward to the next one.

  11. That's a great shallot harvest Ivan. We have never done any good with growing onions, but we sowed silver skin this yr in old washing up bowls like you recommended & they seem to be growing really well so far. Our front container garden on our semi shaded front drive is doing great. We use the best containers for the front & recycled pots in the back garden. I'm keeping a list on what works as planted one of each in annual salads & veg, then come Winter we will just clear & store the pots away .We dont have a car so we have many pots on there now. Now my neighbour's have caught the bug. Nk door planted container toms out on her's & another one has very impressive peas growing in a large container on her drive 🙂 Interesting talking point with our post lady now lol. Im just putting in my July seed order. As pensioners we allow a budget of up to £7 each month for our garden, which is approx the price of a garden mag. We did'nt know there is still so much that can still be sown in July. We have never grown this much before .Really looking forward to see what seeds you are sowing in July.
