Great job on the weeding! What a difference that made! Samantha is so adorable ❤
With all of the daffodil bulbs, do you find that you are digging into them or disturbing them at all? Because when I plant in the same beds, I always find myself damaging or digging up my daffodil bulbs.
My husband and I plan our garden rows so that he can get the tiller between the rows (except the potatoes and melons) all summer. When the potatoes grow too large, he can't till, but then the foliage suppresses the weeds, and so do the melons. Looks like you will have a lot of food produced in your new area! Great video!
Laura – lovely job on the Coleus explosion bed. I can’t wait to see a progress photo when they’ve put on more growth. Question: when you say you don’t prune your tomatoes, does that mean you don’t do sucker plucking? I had no idea that was even a thing until this year and since trying it, it has completely changed my harvest and sped up production significantly. Is there a benefit to not pruning?
Here in the Philippines is very humid and very hot 🥵 that’s why it’s so hard to do anything or any chores outside the house 😅
Color blocking on the beautiful Coleus bed…… 💯❤
I love seeing everything you film and look forward to watching any day you put up a new video. You must not have chiggers or fire ants there. I would be eaten alive on the new property where you weeded. I am in Texas and we have chiggers, fire ants, scorpions, asps, and so many evil little creatures to contend with in our gardens. I know they must serve some purpose, but if they are in my space and threatening to sting me then they have to meet their maker. Lol
I love that hose thingy , I can’t remember what you called it , lol. Speaking of humidity ,I’m in Massachusetts and it’s been raining so much and the past couple of days it has been so humid. It’s really tough working in it and the rabbits are insane this year . I planted hollyhocks and mallow and the rabbits ate it all ☹️well anyway I enjoy watching your videos and I also enjoy the idea that you don’t have critters that eat everything, lol!🌸🪴🌼
Question. Laura you noted that you had a ton of daffodils bulbs in the area where you were planting coleus. Did you not dig a bunch of bulbs up when you were using the auger to plant the coleus? Aaron …. the hose guide/hook thingy is ba-rilliant!
Laura, you need more plants in that space.
Too cute for word; she is! ❣
Hey Laura, I love to see you growing and harvesting in a new way. Have you ever thought about a big strawberry patch? Maybe a little fruit and vegetable stand for Benjamin and Samantha Grace.
Thank you for the colour block info
Most of the plants we received in compostable pots his year had great root development; my thought it’s due to the nutrients embedded in the pots.
Love the hose hook. Seems like a push mower with a bag attachment might work for going between the rows.
Thank you for teaching us about "color blocking" ; I've felt the messiness but had no idea how to correct it in a visually pleasing way. Now I know, thanks to your video! linda from NE
Why not use the pulled weeds to mulch the empty space created when weeding?
That's no joke, Laura getting after all those weeds! You can tell how she really appreciates her team!
Business question here: I see most other content creators create a LTK store or Amazon store front. Are Aaron & Laura just “keeping it classy” or maybe the “juice isn’t worth the squeeze” and not linking? The only reason I pay for YT & opt in a monthly member is to help “pay it back” to those who have given me and my garden so much. My other half would argue this is the MOST expensive media I consume😂!
Hi Laura, just wondering, you talked about how you freeze a lot of your vegetables from the garden. Have you ever tried canning them? You have so much, that would be a great way to save them to eat through the winter.
Laura- weeding is so satisfying! Curious what weed you have that grows so big? Does it come out in one swoop? An easy pull is a big pay off!
Laura, what is your plan for your abundant harvest. Will you be canning or freeze drying? I like that you have new content every day.😊
Why don’t you just buy the kneepads that you strap on? Seems like an extra step to reposition it each time
Humidity 65% today and that's comfortable. I want to be your neighbor.
I've always LOVED coleus, and all these varieties are spectacular! I am, however, surprised that when you tip them over with the auger that you don't have stem breakage because I've found the stems will break off easily. I mean, I know you don't tip them over with force, but do you ever have breakage? Love your channels and have been a faithful viewer for many years now. I can't believe what you've done with this property! Gorgeous!
What a partnership you two have. You are such an inspiration!
This is a tour of Chateau Villandry in France from a local weather man from my area in New England. It reminds me so much of Laura's garden that I thought I would share it with other GA fans.
