    Glad everything is okay after the storm. I didn't plant cucumbers this year and after seeing yours I wish I had. It's too hot now (105 today) and the bugs are thriving in this heat. Maybe later for fall I'll get some going.

    I have 4 pickling cucumbers growing nicely in a big pot. I want to repot or give 2 away. Will 2 grow well together with a couple of bush beans?

    My potatoes were leaning a bit this morning but thank goodness they've perked up through out the day, noticed my carrots have germinated , only sown those just over a week ago, your salad leaves look so nice Ivan, lovely & fresh. Can i ask, do i water my peppers from the bottom in a tray or from the top, thanks..

    There's a theory that you should pick off the flowers from the potato plants so it puts more energy into the tubers rather than flower.

    What's your thoughts behind that?

    lovely to see how your garden is progressing this year! glad the storm didnt do damage. We had it forecast too but it thundered a few times and rained lightly for about 10 minutes only, so disappointing as ground could really do with the water!

    Glad you weathered your strorm with minimal losses….makes me think of our pioneers struggles with weather to raise their crops without all the advantages we have today. Was great of your precautions you took as well..all good to know information..👍👍
