my tbm graft just started a pup, but is it too close to the union and could cause separation? the graft is really solid and it’s grown maybe 3 inches since it was initially grafted so i think it might be strong enough but i’d love any advice

It will be fine. All my butt grafts pup from the bottom areole closest to the rootstock, and they grow out fine.
