There was a time that all I wanted in the world was a little farm where I could raise my family and grow our food. Now, that is exactly what exists outside my door. In watching it unfold, a new dream was formed in my heart – to share this beautiful life with others and teach them the lessons we’ve learned along the way. Welcome to our journey, friend.     I keep trying to grow radishes and turnips but they only produce the tops. Idk what I'm doing wrong.

    My very first gardening memories were me helping my babysitter water her flowers each morning before I was school age. She had a couple little concrete frog statues in her yard. 💓 Thank you for this beautiful video and for reminding me of those beautiful memories. 🥰

    I am anxious for our first ripe tomato. Have some set on but zone 7b, 4547' elevation with the thunderstorms we've been having, it looks like it will be a while yet. Strawberries are ripening. If the hail does not decimate or rain come at the wrong time, it looks like we might have the first cherry harvest in some years. Have been battling aphids on sick trees for years but maybe, I am gaining ground with regenerative soil practices.

    Bug repellent and fertilizer. Bunny Pee. Black Gold. Dilute 20 to 1 with water. Had bugs allll over my taters. Sprayed it and they were all gone the next day

    I wish my zucchini and yellow squash looked like that. Mine are still on the small side. But this is my first year growing, So I am hoping to get better. Also started a YouTube channel so I will be able to compare!
    But you are who got me gardening! I only hope to be as good as you someday! 😊❤

    If the little ones are OK, garden comes second when a mom has been away for a few days.

    Saying that, it’s obvious your young men missed you.

    I’d dig up everything that has potato pests. Unless you need the plants as sacrifice hosts to invite the JP predators in. Tbh, Jess. Get the potatoes up. There’s plenty of farmers around using pesticides that will guarantee sacks of tatts over the winter. Maybe you’ll have a second chance of harvesting potatoes planted in a few weeks.
