  1. Girl power! It’s so great to see capable women doing things that are usually shown being done by men. I know how to use power tools and friends are always surprised. The vegetable beds look gorgeous.

  2. What a blessing. I wish I had family that would come do this for me. If I lived home I know my parents would help.

  3. Wish I had a sister like you to help me in my gardens. Monica's yard is looking so great and should provide her with great veggies for her love of cooking.

  4. Love the look of Monica's raised beds. I love the way you handled the weed barrier inside the beds. Deep rooting and extra protection for the interior of the wood.

  5. Monica's garden just keeps on getting more and more beautiful! It really does look bigger. I am so inspired by her backyard!

  6. If Monica desires to keep the end caps copper color, from experience I recommend clear coating them once a year.

  7. Absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait for the yard to be finished. You girls are so talented. It just makes my day to watch what fabulous projects you have going. ❤

  8. Is the trellis from a kit or did they build it from scratch? I would love a tutorial on it! 😍

  9. It is perfect! I am wondering whne is the best time to plant plants from pots. I have roses their second year in pots that I wish to plant in the ground and also Strawberry Hydrengea in their pots from the nursery – I was thinking to leave both till autumn since I thought planting now in summer time might kill them? Please advise. Thank you!

  10. Perfect!! Make sure to do more update videos as this space progresses. Good job all! Monica, it's beautiful! I'd live to see an espalier tree between your two windows trained on a dark frame Nick would build

  11. OH MY! Absolutely amazing Laura – YOU built these?!!!! Fabulous! Monica's husband did a great job on the trellis. Love the idea of an espalier!!! I was thinking of the diamond design – but the fruit tree espalier is brilliant! A small tiered fountain is perfect Monica! Laura – you are just full of energy and joy! Love this video sooooo much. Thank you!!!

  12. What fun watching this rather plain and simple backyard be transformed into a visual paradise! Love the stone elements, and am thinking of emulating the trellis – it is gorgeous.

  13. Great Job Girls!! Monica and Nick your yard is turning out so beautiful! Enjoy– God Bless You ❤

  14. Monica & Nick’s garden looks fab, it’s great to see the changes and the new raised beds are fab 🙌 Hi from UK 🇬🇧

  15. Hi Laura! How did Pedro and team level the soil against fence exactly? I noticed a plank of wood (probably cedar) up against the fence. Did the team drill holes in the plank and insert the rebar in the holes or are the rebars just resting on the plank?

  16. Oh Laura your hard work is contagious! I hope you know you’re inspiring & changing gardens around the world! ❤

  17. I love how it has all turned out. With as small of a area of grass, why not get a pallet of sod and it will be instant gratification.

  18. You guys are inspiring with your “can do it!” efforts. I love the look of this backyard. It’s giving some thoughts on what to do with my own backyard. Thx!

  19. It is such a pleasure watching Laura and Monica working together. Wonderful sister relationship! Brought a real smile seeing Benjamin helping with the project too. Impressed with the ability to use power tools, but you girls just take it in stride and make it look so doable. The design of the garden is very pleasing on the eye and I love how thrilled and happy Monica is with it.

  20. Yay, Saturday video. Her yard is looking so cute with the stone in the arch and now the raised beds. It’s going to be such a sweet and comfortable little place to mingle and relax. Job well done.❤

  21. Oh my goodness, how perfect! It’s coming together so nicely. So many beautiful areas in what looked like a smallish yard. Now it looks much bigger, and with so many features! Cant wait to see the fountain! How fun for you guys!!!

  22. 💚 Awe, Monica’s laugh is so much like y’all’s moms; too cute. 😄 Great work!! 👏 love the bench idea. Maybe A few Japanese Sky Pencils would look nice for additional screening. Excited to see more progress!

  23. I love seeing a more typical yard space filled with beautiful designs for raised beds, etc. You and Monica are a great team, working in harmony on this lovely project! Two thumbs up from me!

  24. If that mulch is colored or stained brown, it can come off onto your shoes and stain carpet, rugs, and floors. Also get on dog and cat paws. 😮 Just thought it'd be helpful to know.

  25. Wonderful! The backyard really is looking bigger which is wild. Really good job (and hard work!) on the beds! So pretty! ❤

  26. Also, your parents must be so proud of both of you… so hard-working AND kind AND talented! God bless.
