Great tour! I have to keep reminding myself that I am in zone 9a and at least 10 degrees cooler, so my plants will be a bit slower in growing at the moment. Tomorrow and the next it will hit the 90's again. My sweet corn is definitely loving the warmer temperatures. So exciting in watching everything grow.😊❤
Hey Tiffany, looks like you have quite a few visitors in your garden. You are so knowledgeable about what’s doing harm and what is beneficial for your garden. I started quite a few seeds from the swap and I’m excited about the germination rate so far. I will keep you posted. Your mom’s tomatoes plant and the luffas are doing well.
Lovely garden tour. I used to get ground squirrels, so much I put my veggies in jail, using 1/2" hardware cloth. Later, I used tulle, which is cheaper and easier to handle. Recently though, I suspect my neighbor's cats take care of my squirrel and mice problem. Their 2 cats like to hang around my pond. I saw a new cat today too. I still use tulle to cover my fruit trees. I just covered my mulberry today with tulle and binder clips. I got 3 bolts for I think $10 or $11 years ago and have so far have just used 1 bolt. I have some pieces for my plum trees but I think I might use another bolt for them. So far nothing is eating my figs, so I have not covered them.
My little winter mice seem to be gone because the snakes have come out! At least the snakes don’t eat my sprouts. It’s already 94 degrees here in the high desert of Texas. I’m watering 4x a day. 🥵🥵 I planted beans throughout my garden, but the ones in the stackable containers never germinated. 😢
I really must pot up some more carrots!!
Wow so many new garden pets thanks for the informative video I enjoyed it
Great idea! The baskets.
I love your energy 🙂 Definitely worth the sub!
Yep, the baskets save your seeds/seedlings from birds, too. Also handy for harvesting cherry tomatoes!
Hi, wonderful garden. Have you heard of the Arizona Worm Farm there in Phoenix? I believe they also have a banana tree. They might be able to answer questions that you have.
❤❤❤
Oh my goodness! Our Shitito peppers are tiny. Longest so far was only about .5 inch. Lots of blooms, but teeny tiny fruit that turns red before growing. No clue what I am doing wrong.
Love the mesh basket idea for protection! Thanks for sharing, love seeing your garden !
My tomatoes are taking off, so excited. I harvest 1 tomato LOL. I am sad my lettuces and some herbs now bolted. Right now I have issues with little fruit flies, it's everywhere. Driving me nuts when I mow the lawn!
We don’t have pack rats, but we do have squirrels!! And them and I have been at it since March, lol. Love how knowledgeable you are about your garden. 💚
Love the garden… I just got a baby banana tree I can not wait til it gets big…. I have the rats to. I had to move my garden they wouldnt eat they would just dig up and eat seeds and break the bigger plants
Impressive what you have accomplished in such a small space.❤
Omg is my beef steak going to get big like that
Do you start your Stevia yourself? I have not gotten my stevia to germinate.
Oh wow those are on my grapefruit.
But will they eat the fruit on my grapefruit tree?
