Since you manage to create conditions for grapes and figs, maybe try pomgranates?
Wow absolutely love this one Tony. We only have 1 blueberry which fruits.. what variety is the Kiwi? I've tried for years to grow one.
All our fruit seem to be fruiting so far veg is very slow this year.
We aim to get grapes, peach and plum to add to the collection 😂
I would highly recommend growing Japanese wine berries. They grow similar to raspberries and are an amazing fruit and so tasty. If I had to pick only one fruit to grow it would be that.
I need a fruit cage like yours!
nice tony!your are an inspiration!
have you tried Guava Kapow?
👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Tony, A fantastic range of fruits to grow in UK. The hybrid soft fruits are grossly underrated often outshined by their parents. PAX thornless gooseberries are another favourite of mine. Nice one mate 👍🏻
Im jelly of your fruit cage Tony !!
We just started down this path, white currant and 2 Autumn fruiting raspberries.
Saved this vid to playlist for future reference 🤜🤛
Cheers 🌱👍
How are you going to prevent peach leaf curl now you have put it outside?
I must say Tony i dont know how you work full time as a fire fighter and grow so much fruit and veg plus write books and run this channel. Just amazing.
great video Tony, will have to see if there are any loganberry plants at the show tomorrow! would love a fruit cage like yours as looks fab!
my autumn raspberries from 20 plants have spread so much last year and again this year so will have to thin them out this year or end if this year!
oh wow a kiwi how amazing – be interesting to know how fast this grows!
didnt know gooseberries can be grown that easily, are they similar to blackcurrants?
got grapevine envy! no room in my poly tunnel for these so would need another!
got 2 fig plants and hoping this year to get some off of one!
love that you saved that pear tree of your grandfathers!
hope to see you tomorrow!
is this all on your allotment ?
Great info Tony.
Have you ever tried Feijoa? Acca sellowiana/Feijoa sellowiana. (Americans call it Pineapple guava and its very popular in New Zealand) I've seen it fruiting in the cooler areas of Northern Spain and its a big crop in Georgia.
Its really delicious but a bit tender, might fruit in a tunnel, mine flower here in Ireland but the fruit never develops outside.
i'm taking cuttings of a plum and a sloe by air layering-encouraging a branch to root while still on the tree.think they have another month to go.not sure if they will want supplemental water, havent heard of people needing to do that…tried taking sloe cuttings in the past and it never worked.maybe this method
I was stunned at the amount of fruit you had at your place Tony. A whole plot full 😂 great selections too! Cheers Tony. Danny 🌱
Thanks for another great video Tony, I remember picking gooseberrys in the garden as a kid and stopping in laybys and picking blackberrys on the way to the beach with my grandparents.
Recently rewatched your potatoes and strawberries videos, I have a dozen of the Lakeland 25L ones you recommend and 3 fabric ones, all full of spuds, 2 buckets of first earlies have been going for 3 whole months now (half under plastic on the raised bed, I'm going to give it another week or two as I started a bit too early according to some opinions.
Far too many tomatoes, half will be given away.
basil, lettuce going well, perpetual spinach planted out today, pepper from last year aclamatised.
Peas and beans.
Several raspberries, strawberries and a rhubarb.
Thanks for all your videos and the advice and inspiration. Second year growing
Oh and an apple tree last autumn.

Hi Tony. Your trees are impressive. Do you think it is possible to grow avocados in the UK? Im in Salisbury. Thank you x
Thank you
Spot on Tony, massive savings to be made with fruit and so many varieties you can't get in the shops
How easy is it to propagate blackcurrant? I’m very interested in learning propagation. Love your new brassica cage video you posted on your patreon! Love the additional content your posting 🥰
Tony, I'm wondering where you buy such a large area of bird netting, or whether there's a system for joining the smaller widths together? My whole garden is about the size of your cage and has 8ft garden walls, so I could cover the entire garden if I can find the netting.
Thanks,
Rick
