Seeing the produce from all the work you've done brings a lift to my heart. God's gifts are boundless,
I love it…. I have so little space, I have to grow in containers, from potatoes to parsnips, carrots and leeks, almost all in pots/containers. I have 1 split level 6ft x 4ft raised bed I've split into 12 inch squares, each square dedicated to a particular vegetable. Ie. 9 carrots per 12in², 4 parsnips, 4 onions etc. trying to utilise the minimal space I have to work with. 🏴❤👍
Love that salad idea. I have enough mixed salad greens and Little Gems to make it.
Btw, potatoes from skins I composted in a big pot, who knew, grew and I tipped the pot out and found some yukons big enough. I put the smaller ones with russets growing in a bin and added the soil from the pot. Such a find was a surprise.
I have a very tiny yard so all I grow in is containers. Can't wait for a homegrown tomato!
Yum yum yum Ivan 🤤 That chicken salad looked delicious. Everything you’re growing looks delicious. You just need a wee laying hen running about and dropping your fresh eggs 🥚 😂🤣
The big galvanized tub of onions….how does it drain the water? Did you drill holes in the bottom? Love the whole container garden idea. Thanks
Thanks Ivan, the container garden is brilliant and the end product was the lovely looking salad with a nicely cooked chicken. Have a great week. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Container gardening is so empowering. Everyone young and old should have one.👍👍
That container garden looks amazing ❤ fresh healthy home grown food and a fraction of the cost. An all round winner
Love your channel ❤
It just shows it CAN BE DONE 😊
Hi Ivan … quick question plz, when harvesting little gems , do I pull up the entire plant or just cut leaves off that I want as and when ? If I do have to pull up the entire plant , how do I know for sure it’s ready ? Thanks.
Ivan
Can you grow leeks, onions in close proximity to peas.
Very inspiring and motivational video. Plus seeing yr containers on towers, stools and stands has given me lots of ideas about making a container area that is raised higher next yr . l need to have my veg growing raised up more now as me and hubby are elderly suffering with bad backs now. After seeing this video l realized l can put some of my salad containers on our spare metal garden seats that we use when children visit more over summer. All l have to do is get them to lift the containers off when need extra seating. Why didnt l think of that before lol.
