A dead top like that and dying top down means there’s no coming back for this tree. Conifers don’t recolonize dead wood well. Have you had any weird weather like droughts or floods? Also it’s probably not too happy being on its own like that in the middle of a lawn

Look for damage done at base of dieback . It could be a number of Biotic issues or Abiotic. Recommend to remove dead areas at proper live later lateral. The tree will hopefully recover with proper watering and maintenance. No center lead anymore but others will candle out and grow upwards.
