Does anyone else “cultivate” berry plants you find in the wild?

    I do! The best part is that you’re literally getting to grow something that’s almost guaranteed to be genetically unique instead of clones from nurseries. I literally have no idea what a few raspberry varieties I found are but I’m excited to find out!

  2. I tried… similarly found some absolutely delicious black raspberries on a hike and planted them, but they didn’t take. Which should not have surprised me. There was only one bush on the whole hike. Clearly it didn’t propagate very well.
