Yes that Salvia is amazing. I also love that they are easy to propragate as well. Love love love the purple bluish blooms as well. Just an all around Awesome plant.
Lantana here in my zine 9b is a perennial and they come back each year here in South Louisiana.
Q: How do you treat thw black spots on rose bush leaves?
Janey, you have enormous bragging rights! Your gardens are absolutely spectacular! Jason deserves major kudos, too! What a wonderful supportive husband you have!
I can't wait to hear about how the garden tour goes….I bet yours is going to be the very favorite! Praying that your roses, alliums, and everything will burst into full bloom in time, and that the weather will be perfect!! How thrilling for you to receive this well deserved recognition!! ๐๐๐ธ๐ผ Linda
Peony 10A no ice needed. I have Itoh Peonies for 6 years and don't pour ice or do anything to them and the bloom every year and get more flowers each year…..so give yourself and your ice machine a break and just enjoy.
My pentas look horrible for a month after I plant them and then like a Phoenix rise up and are stunning
Heliotrope is very poisonous to pets I would not want any harm to your pets.
Your yard looks so amazing. I love hearing you say you are proud ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ you should be. Itโs really amazing. I let my yard go for a few years after my grandbabies were born. Now I am trying to get it back in shape. So hard. I am so impressed by you
Everything looks so stunning! Thank you for sharing your garden and your knowledge with us all! โค
Well Janey. First of all you remind me of my daughter. I loved this tour all the way through. Neat little ice tip.
Just finished watching, and I love all of it! Congratulations on being part of the garden tour! Quick question: Do you ever struggle with garden pests like rabbits, squirrels and rats? A lot of my garden is being eaten by them and I've tried many things. I was just wondering if you have any advice. Thanks
I just love your videos Janey, they always bring so much joy to what I consider some dark days. You have a beautiful garden and I have know doubt that your garden tour will be a great success!
Janey your garden looks absolutely gorgeous! You have blooms everywhere! You should be very proud! People on the tour are going to be blown away!
Amazing
Congrats on being asked to participate in the tour! How I would LOVE to be able to visit your beautiful garden tour! I'm KY 6b so I thoroughly enjoy watching your 9b gardening skills and learning what thrives in your zone. And I love that your family of 4 all participate … a family that gardens together stays together ๐ Thanks for sharing the informative mulching info. I'm going to try to find that mulch in KY. I wonder where you got the trellis for the Elegance Watermelon sweet peas to grow on?
I'm so excited for the tour! Hope to get some great ideas for my baby garden
Sooo Beautiful!! ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
Just absolutely lovely.
Kudos from a 9b AZ desert gardener who longs for a beautiful flowering green garden. ๐ข Janey, your garden soothes my gardenerโs soul. Well done!!
Enjoy with pride your wonderful garden.
I love the tour of your momโs garden. What was the name of that video I want to build that Obelisk๐ฅฐ๐ธ๐บ
Congratulations on your garden tour sooooo well deserved!!! Garden looks so beautiful!!!๐ธ๐ธ
Oh Janey, your garden beds are so lovely and your enthusiasm is electric! I sure wish I lived near you to come to the garden tour, congratulations again on that honour! Iโd also like to give a โ warm fuzzyโ (as we used to say in my teaching days) to Jason. His filming was spot on, just the right speed and great close-ups! You two make a great garden team!! ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฟ๐ธ
Janey uouf garden is looking absolutely beautiful, when thd plants fill in itโs gonna bd just do gorgeous
We live not too far from you over in Brentwood so finding your channel has been wonderful. There are so many gardening channels I love on here, but none of them garden in our zone so many of their plants don't handle the same. Thank you so much for the mulch recommendation too. I currently have had the big black bark for almost three years now and have been looking to replace it. We have a south facing house so it gets VERY hot and you're right when you say the black isn't doing the ground any favors. I think I will give your brand a try since it's sold locally here too. Your garden looks lovely! I am sure it's a bright spot for your neighbors and people who pass by too. โบ
My town hosted a garden tour a couple springs ago & it was absolutely amazing! I hope they bring it back soon bc i just loved admiring everyoneโs gardens. Definitely inspired me to get more creative with my gardening!โค
You did an amazing job . . We can all see ur hard work ๐๐๐
Congratulations! Enjoy being part of the garden tour!
Loved the tour Janey! I was so happy to see how well the sem false spirea is doing in your cottage garden bed! Mine is also looking so beautiful right now.
Congratulations on being in the garden tour. Your garden is beautiful!
Love every thing that we can see, but camera person needs to ZOOM in on every plant and flower, tree, shrub, etc much better. We just cannot see them well at all staying so distanced away, only framing you in almost the whole time, not showing these plants and plant beds enough. Thank you. โค older eyes need to see things more close up.
Wow! Everything is looking absolutely beautiful! You should be so proud of all your hard work. ๐ฅฐ
Everything is looking beautiful Janey ๐ฅฐ

Absolutely gorgeous ๐น๐๐น๐
Beautiful garden! Thanks for sharing all you learn!
You guys work hard in your garden and it shows! Congratulations on being in the tour. Well-done!
I have wild onions and YES they will take over your world. It won't take long either. Here (zone 8b) they don't get as big as yours but they are so invasive!
What is the mulch you recommend. I have been looking, but cannot find it
All I remember is it is by Garden Path? Would appreciate your response โค.
Congrats and good luck on the show!
wow, what a delightful treat! Your garden tours are my favorite thing to watch, hands-down! beautiful garden! I love being inspired by it and you! love love love! I look forward to these garden tours, and doing exactly what you said, grabbing a glass of wine or a big cup of coffee, and just sit down and relax to watch your garden ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Congratulations ๐๐๐๐๐๐
White Zonal Pelergonium is the name of what you have shown as geranium. I cut our purple Heliotrope to the ground every late autumn or early winter and it comes back big a beautiful each spring. Lovely tour!
Iโve been on our local garden tour two times Itโs so exciting and rewarding BUT sooo much work Enjoy yourself and Iโm sure all the people attending will be in love!!!
Wow! Hydrangeas in zone 9b!? Iโm in zone 9b and we only average around 300 chill hours, which gave me the impression that hydrangeas were a no go (as the internet says they need around 1000). how many chill hours do you get? Amazing garden and I love your videos! ๐ฟ
Beautiful display of color in the garden.
