  1. Anytime I feel like im struggling or overwhelmed in my growing journey your videos get me through those times and excited to get back to the garden and keep going. Thank you

  2. Thanks for your explanation. Most of which I was aware of. Its sometimes hard to get the succession planting right. Need more organisation and planning.

  3. This does seem to make gardening easier if you have the set up in place. Like here in Ontario Canada. I'm working on extending the season.

  4. I'm doing a silly experiment this year. Because I have too many semi-old seed packets, I am mixing a bunch of different seeds and broad sowing them on all the beds. Then, in the gaps where nothing pops up, I plug the gaps with peas, broad beans, or a few plug plants I grew indoors. Definitely not the most efficient, but I am clearing out my seed stock!

  5. I envy you for being able to crop peas all summer. I can't succession sow peas in my area because it gets too hot too quickly, so I have to plan for one big harvest in May. I sowed three times the amount of peas I usually do this year, because you can never have too many 🙂

  6. with your experiment field Huw, would you guys ever make your own polytunnel? I'd love to watch that!

  7. Enjoy your video Huw, it really coming together. I like. The idea of the climbing hydrangea it one of my most favourite plants. Thanks for all the information & thanks also for your team putting it all together

  8. I just took out some romaine heads to put in peppers. I also started some Asian greens and lettuces twice but the bugs have come in.🐛🐞🪲

  9. Asian greens that are brassicas do really well early in the season and late in the season. These are pak choi, daikon, mustard greens, chinese broccoli and so on. I put them out in March and they have withstood temperatures between -5 and – 10 degrees celcius several nights. They are in a cold frame only protected by two layers of mesh and one layer of green house plastic. In summer they bolt but they are fantastic in flavour and perfect spring or autumn harvests.

  10. Hi Huw. Boy a 2nd year gardener and I really need to put the brakes on as I want to do everything all at once – AND be good at it LOL!! Keep it simple I must remind myself and enjoy the process of learning. For example learning to effectively succession plant. On a small scale I'll be trying with three different sort of carrots this year as well as spreading out sowing of my peas to enjoy longer. A question. Is there any way to order products from your webshop here in the Netherlands? I'd love for example top be able to order one of your cold frames for my new garden. Hope to get an answer and happy gardening!👍👋

  11. I'm in America and I'm really grateful that you made the Containerwise seedling trays available here. I was able to snag a few of the ten-module trays last time. I'll be sure to buy more again, maybe some other kinds. I absolutely love them.

I'm not a huge veggie eater…that is, I eat what I consider "the normal ones" and would have no idea what to do with the vast array you grow. Who actually eats radishes? Kohlrabi? I've never eaten a turnip or a beet or a rutabaga (swede). Does anyone know what to do with these things? Are they worth it?
