Nice one Kris, thank you 👍
Ive been watching your content for a year or so now, I decided to watch some of your older videos and the 2021 walkthrough absolutely blew my mind, incredible work Kris
Hello blue bamboo looks great ,been trying to get one for a while now ,no one seems to have it in stock .do you know any suppliers, great videos as always
Big fan of this format, Kris. Really enjoyed seeing snapshots around the garden. Cheers!
Hi, was wondering what the yellow things were on my trachycarpus fortunei. It will be the first time it flowers 😊
Love watching your videos as you always learn something new from you. Those Tulips were stunning!
😂😂 your small tetrapanax pups popping up everywhere are twice the size of my biggest one. Im doing something really wrong.
Tropical stuff does take a while to get going a good idea to mix it up in the spring with some bulbs
I have several large tetrapanax. All the ones in more exposed locations are all shooting from the top but the 3 near the house are not doing anything. They are are east facing. Waiting to see what they do.
What is the name of the huge agave-looking plant on your right side at 9.00 ?
Chocolate vine is on my list for a fence that needs covering. Looks like you are making progress with that path 👌🏻
Great video. I’ve an old chocolate vine. And a few seed grown ones , from Jurassic plants. So I hope to get fruit .
I have a tetrapanax that is about 5 years old and reached just over 3m. No problems until this year, all growing points died and the bark on a 5 inch trunk appears to be loose to the touch most of the way down. I am not holding out much hope 🙁. This is the first year I haven’t protected the growth points of the plant as I got the impression this wasn’t really needed. Guess I was just unlucky. Will give it time…..
I lost almost a meter of stem on my biggest Tetrapanax. A week of frost in December was to much for it. It is growing new shoots on about 50 cm height so it is still alive.
My small Tetrapanax which was only planted last spring has lost it's main growth point. However there are multiple new shoot lower down the main trunk and pups popping up in several areas. I will be planting another one the other side of the garden in about a months time.
Hi Kris, I thought I'd lost my T Rex (which is a large potted pup from my old garden in Kent) – as it was still in a pot in my unheated / uninsulated greenhouse and froze solid for two weeks in December and then again for about a week in Jan – I thought the growing point had gone, but amazingly, I've now got signs of life in the form of two new shoots on either side of the top growing point! Very pleased about this as it was one that Will Gile gave me – so it was a bit special.🙂Still not sure about my potted hedychiums though – which suffered a similar fate😶
I have Gunnera manicata and Tinctoria both in pots and both have died,i'm wondering why?
