A 5 minute follow-up on the 5 minute container garden build video. This is an update on how the planter did through the season, as well as info on modifications I would make (minimal, and depending on your location/plants).
The planter I’m discussing is the one featured in my instruction video for a DIY sub-irrigated planter. The concept is similar to Earth Box and other retail systems that have a water reservoir.

I dont know where you, but if you have trees you can mulch the blueberries witg pine needles they love it
Hard to impossible to find clean straw that doesn't have pesticide.
Just an fyi…..gypsum is for acidic plants and lime is for alkaline plants. 😊
Is there certain types of plants that won't like this? I can imagine for example cactus would be over watered. Would rosemary or something that requires less watering like this system?
