  1. Good morning smart and beautiful, water the flowers and brighten up their day with one of your beautiful smiles, GOD BLESS 😇🌷🇺🇸☕

  2. Looking good with those potatoes! I don't have the budget for the fancy ones. I just plant Red Pontiac or Red Norland, whichever the local seed and feed sells when I do. Much less expensive. Your brassicas look healthy, albeit, leggy, though. You need more grow lights, my friend. Next Winter you need to build a grow station with 5K lumen LED shop lights – I use shelving and now have 4 three foot stations. That will keep your plants from getting leggy. If you use 162 cell Proptek trays, you can time your transplants so you can plant them directly out of the trays and avoid the expense of potting them up.

  3. wow. lots of babies. seems like brassicas can handle cooler weather, i would plant them outside soon. i have heard once seedlings are up, it is time to take plastic lids off. good luck on this years garden.

  4. Who are you growing all this food for? Do you sell at a market? Do you have a root cellar for all the root vegetables you will harvest?
I thought you had said you were going to downsize your garden for manageability? I love having a garden and growing food but I also know what I can manage for myself. Good luck to you. Will love to watch your progress.

  5. Good Morning Kaye! Looks like everything is coming along with the usual sprouting issues. So sorry about your figs but maybe they will be ok with more time. Seems like once everything sprouts they all need to be transplanted at once. Hope the weather holds for a while to at least get a few more in the ground. Blessings..

  6. Lovely 🌹your plant starts look lovely, Pumpkin Spice Jalapeños look fantastic… Keep on growing Kaye! RIGHT BESIDE YOU! Fun gardening journey we like minded gardeners share. Hey, trial and errors always. The old saying is “ you got lemons … make lemonade “ Sprouts get too leggy eat them in a salad.
Everything we do in gardening is a trial and lessons learned .. NO FAILURES always a positive outcome to every gardening experience. Stay positive enjoy life and relax a little along the way.

  7. Hello there dearest kaye. Lots of busy time,,oh I do hope that there will soon be signs of those roots, also I really love how you say a little bit of exercise for those young wee seedlings, I love that saying, not heard it before. I always say that I turn mine round to grow towards the light of window,,i shall always think of the exercise now you have told us,,oh my eldest granddaughter, she has a saying when I'm collecting eggs or only get1 of something ( 1 egg) ,she says 1 is better than zero grandma,,(grammy).I think of that every day, haven't seen them in nearly 3 years,.but coming to stay in july…Well hugs for those darling csts, cats, for you and thanks so much for video, 😊take care, bye for nowxx

  8. I use kelp powder or Wood ashes for any potatoes I cut .I have grown adirondaCK BLUES FOR A FEW YEARS NOW AND SAVED THE SEED , THEY GET BIG AND STORE WELL AND DON'T ATTRACT BUGS AS A BONUS. ALL OF MY BRASSICAS ARE OUTSIDE AND HAVE BEEN FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW

  9. I’m living vicariously through you with all of your varieties of veggies. With all that’s going on in the world and my limited space, I’m having to stay with keeping varieties simple and limited, but it’s fun to watch your experiments Kaye!❤️👏

  10. You have been a busy girl!🤗 I’ve never seen that potato you have, you are going to have a nice harvest to enjoy!
Time to fix a cup of tea and relax!
    Thank you

  11. Your house looks like ours! Seedlings everywhere. lol Love seeing what you have.
Last year for the 1st time, we started our peas and beans inside, and then transplanted them outside when they got to be about 4-5" tall. They germinated so much better than when we had planted them directly outside! In the past we lost them to either wet, soggy clay soil or birds. I read somewhere you can start them inside. So, we tried it last year. The results were so amazing that I will never go back to direct sowing them outside.

  12. I agree about killing the Fire Ants! I am allergic to their stings having met a few when we lived in Florida. Ugh. We have ants here but not any Fire Ants. Glad about the potatoes. Have had to cover all my seedlings again today for it is to freeze the next two nights. After that, warm and warmer then H-O-T!

  13. Wow you got a great assortment of seeds going Tomatoes be rocking Sending Prayers for a bountiful harvest this year 😊🙏 💕
