    Hi Ivan, thank you for another informative video. Do you pick the green leaves of those onions and shallots later in the year, or do they need those leaves to produce the heads? Thank you.

    Thanks, Onion roots are not so shallow as you think – they have main roots but also very deep growing fibrous roots which the onion searches down for nutrients and adds to the growth – another good update
