    It’s 15 years ago when we moved to this house that I wanted a greenhouse! It was a battle with my partner that I lost. I wanted to knock out the library wall, our south facing one, and get some LIGHT in here. Our house is a Mediterranean style stucco with only a few French doors to the outside. I capitulated to his love of books and went about creating the garden anyway.

    While I love this little place and it’s location, out east on Long Island, NY (the ‘Hamptons’), I feel the need to plant seeds- and I haven’t got a single windowsill!

    I would use that $500 to get this exact greenhouse. I’d put a couple of chairs in amongst the plants AND SIT IN IT on freezing Spring days like today sipping’ a cuppa tea! I’d make it so Instagram-able I’d have to block it off w/a hedge just to keep passers-by out of it. …or maybe I’ll invite them in & make new friends.

    That green house is so cute… it is the perfect size for a small space or if you only need one for a small amount of plants and it looks great! With $500 from Gardeners Supply I would buy either the cedar cold frame or now seeing how easily the octagon greenhouse went up I think I would get one of those. Great video!

    It’s coming along beautifully, can’t wait to see the end result. I would love adding this greenhouse to my landscape, it would reciprocate the gazebos that House my She-shed and hot tub.     Beautiful greenhouse! If I had a $500 gift card from Gardner supply I would get a couple of elevated garden beds OR some seating OR put it toward an outdoor dining set. They have so many wonderful items it would be fun to sit and go through a process of deciding.

    The greenhouse is so cute! It really created a nice focal point in the space. This year I’ve decided to be ambitious and start a one-woman cut flower operation, so if I had $500 dollars to spend at gardeners supply, I would probably get some proper plant supports and irrigation (my space isn’t very large, but watering by myself last year was a struggle). Their chicken wire flat back crop coops (say that five times fast lol) would also save me from the frustration of watching the (completely fearless!) birds enjoy my raspberries lol.
