    Ivan, I have been harvesting the peas I sowed in the fall. I sowed a few speckled peas that are now up peach tree prunnings. I spotted beets, turnips and couple of spinach volunteers in the same container.
    I just wanted to say this to let you know I learned (at 76) better gardening from you.

    In Ohio, I'm going to plant my sugar snap peas next week. I planted some English peas in a pot a few days ago. In the USA, we call the shelling peas English peas.
