  2. Hey Gary I have a question I got some strawberry runners grown from last year I brought them home from my moms house and put them out on my balcony, should/ will they produce fruit this year or will they still take another year before berries appear, plus if I planted bare roots will they produce berries the first year?

  3. Off topic, Sunday morning at 5:20 AM, A tornado touched down on my property. It made a diagonal cut across the property, taking down about ten trees in its path before rising back up, snapping their trunks. Damage to my house was limited to the back deck. All railing and stair banisters will have to be replaced. A popular tree crashed down on it. The tornado brought 1/2 inch hail with it. My peas and half my lettuce were pulverized—no hope for them, and it is too late to replant them in my area. I'll have to wait to planting time for a fall harvest. The good news is all of my raised beds were covered with netting to keep my cat from digging up my plants. The netting saved the plants under it from the hail. Best of all, my polytunnel greenhouse survived the storm without damage. I was sure, at the very least, the cover would be shredded. All the work I did with beefing it up paid for itself and then some. I am getting my first cucumber, squash, replacement tomato, and pepper sprouts.

  4. Hi I haven't received my order yet, wonder how long it takes from your area to So. CALIFORNIA. CANT WAIT TO TRY YOUR PRODUCTS Gary

  5. I've always battled mold and rot when sprouting ginger and turmeric in water or ziplocs, but had great results in trays or pots filled with potting mix that's kept moist and warm.
