When is a weed not a weed? Like this one, when it is an herb, but not just any old herb, a medicinal herb! Cleavers (Galium aparine and also called goosegrass). I am a nerd in the garden and love to research what I have to continuously pull up. I do not like to use persistent herbicides so I try to learn what is growing in my yard and why it is there. Most plants/weeds are quite intriguing to learn about. Some like this one are edible also.
