Thanks Ivan for another great video!
Thanks Ivan, for a great update. Question please, where did you get the net for your raised beds.
So now it starts what we have been waiting for all winter..
Hi Ivan – good to see you getting things out in to the garden. Is it also possible to plant out onion seedlings now?. Mine are now about 4 inches tall, but I don't want to risk losing them by putting them out too early
I just do a three year rotation of ROOTS–>SEEDS–>FRUITS&LEAVES so peas and beans provide nutrients for the crops next year. I use climbing frames; I find that just a few climbing bean plants soon take over the whole thing, completely covering it with layers of leaves so it disappears from view underneath it all. Wouldn't want that to happen to my sweetcorn!
Even though I covered my potatoes they got damaged by the freeze we had last weekend. Your plants are looking great. I hope we have all had our last freeze now and can get on with gardening.
Nearly 7pm in Ireland, I am back from work and I am glad I haven't started with the out door planting yet wind is blowing mad and the rain is pelting down. Gone cold too! Hope this weather doesn't come across the Irish sea to you or any of your UK followers!
Thanks Ivan, for this first of the season planting. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Hi Ivan. Great to see you planting out, Spring at last! Can I ask how you secure the netting down the sides of your beds, they look really neat.
So happy you can actually get to outdoor gardening again. It’s been a slow start to the season for you guys so far but all getting ramped up now 💪💪. Have a super week stay safe keep growing, Ali 🇨🇦
yes, I think ill plant some bits out this week under frost cloth!
Nice video Ivan regarding companion planting, could you perhaps do a video with a bit more info about this i.e. wot likes to grow with what and more importantly wot doesnt like to grow along side other veg! cheers.
Thank you Ivan for great tips on interplanting. I still need to get some pipes for my raised brassica bed. Sorry, I can't remember where you got your blue pipes from? Thank you 😊
