So funny as soon as you said you were making a curtain I thought it should be a toile. BUT I have to say good call on the gray fabric 😉 you could always use the fabric to make pillow covers for the chairs in the Hartley 😊 the floral or toile would be beautiful.
I LOVE that hand towel drapped over the front of the sink. For me that puts a finishing touch on that space. Soooo pretty! Love you guys.
That is a perfect color, great job.
Laura, Love your curtain. Have an idea for your trash can. Why don’t you use a flower pot? It will go with everything.
The grey fabric looks perfect!
Ahh, this weather! It is spring in Eastern Oregon!
It looks beautiful Laura! I would of liked to of seen the pattern ones just to compare but you know what you are doing. Love it!
All this fuss about covering a pipe. 😂
If the iron on seaming tape is the same as what I have used it will come apart, particularly with repeated movement. However, by then, the material stays in perfect position to sow.
Looks great…it's a winner 🏆
That is the perfect fabric for the space. love it as always. good job.
How about using a terracotta pot for your garbage can? Would blend in perfect with the other pots. Even if you used a nice plastic terracotta pot so you could carry it around easier when grooming your plants.
I still think you should get a beautiful antique fireplace screen to use to hid under the sink. It falls in line with your decor. 🙂
Great idea with the curtains. My suggestion a tiny bit shorter off the floor . Just skim the floor . Maybe even raise the rod underneath. But perfect baskets as well .
Target has great wicker baskets. I got my wicker trash can for my powder room and stage bins from there.
Turned out perfect for your space. That French toile patterned fabric would make beautiful pillow covers for your chairs there in the Hartley. 😊♥️
She who has the most fabric wins!😜
Beautiful end result. You should make pillows for the Hartley with the rest of that beautiful fabric.
In my greenhouse i keep a vintage chamberpot with a lid for all my plant debris. They're made of graniteware so they will last a long time. I also like that they have a lid.
Great selection and it blends so well with the slate floor! Good job Laura!
It looks wonderful! I liked all the fabrics, and never would have thought to go dark, but it is the perfect color! It looks rich, but blends so well with the wood and stone. The sink area looks complete, decorative and tidy. It was fun to see your process.
Ooo! The basket tidies up that area perfect! I would put the chest basket on a little dolly so you can roll it in and out from under the counter? Isn’t Aaron so sweet to help out? There might be something wrong with me. I was very excited to see this project completed and the results! 🤭😊
Perfect cover up job. Attractive but it isn’t distracting. And the wicker basket is the perfect solution.
Hubby was just telling me that he lived in a little house that he put curtains in front of the pipes and on a cold winter night, the pipes froze. You might want to leave the curtain open when it gets really cold out.
You might want to add some magnets to keep the two pieces of fabric together, for days you open up the windows and the breeze comes through. Just a thought!
good choice on that final fabric.
Great organization – great look! Have to say though the solid black disappeared (on video) the best and flat is less noticeable than a gathered look.
Under the sink looks great and tidied up. Getting things done before you are so busy.
lovely!
I love it all , love the wicker chest thats such a great idea..But I love the gray
Looks great!
That turned out just beautiful! Speaking of sewing, did you ever get the curtains done in the house? I hate dragging my machine out too so brilliant decision on using the tape lol
La Serviette Blanche Qui Pandouille Sur Le Rebord De L'Evier Ne Va Pas Dans Le Décor 🤔😳 😂 Je Rigole Mais C Vrai Ça Fait Pas Beau Il Faut Rien Mettre…
Half way across the counter, you would not have to go from front to back.
I love that you put the curtain just under the sink. I never thought of that. It's perfect. We have a long diy counter under a window in our small cabin and we curtained it entirely using Velcro to hang the curtain. We store a lot under that counter now.
I thought for sure my choice would be the toile fabric as it's one of my favorite patterns but the herringbone you chose is absolutely perfect!!! And the baskets are perfect, too!!! It all looks just beautiful!!
Looks great! I love how the pots and baskets look too. Great idea.
Hi Laura
Thank god for the snow, then indoor jobs like this will get done and be ready for spring. Always a good job done Laura. Regards to the family💞
It came out great. I really like the floral one best until you bought the fabric that you used. Perfect. Also the chest for the potting soil is fantastic.
