  1. Check out a restaurant supply store if you have one locally for a scoop. Love the tray and I would group some plants in it when not using it for potting. Thinking about making a tray this weekend! Thanks for the video!

  2. I finally made a potting area with plastic sawhorses and an irregular piece of plywood. Now I can pot in garage and hide the mess!

  3. Crapola! I just got influenced by you last month and finally bought the "green plastic" one! I wish I had waited just a bit longer for this inspiration! πŸ™‚

  4. Love the planting tray! Made with cedar, one could bring down the weight of tray (if that was an important consideration) Great job Laura!

  5. If you have four or five little projects like this one, you could sell printable downloads of that booklet! I'd get one in a heartbeat. Great fundraiser idea for the family center you often support!

  6. Personally, I would've dovetailed the joints. But that's what I am, a woodworker who overly complicates the unnecessary πŸ˜€. Looks great!

  7. I was going to order the plastic one you have. I’m a woodworker n so happy no plastic- I’m making this

  8. Great project! You always do impressive projects. I think the potting tray is perfect addition to your beautiful Hartley. May I just give constructive feedback, please protect your beautiful eyes (and ears).

  9. I was absolutely going to make something like this for my new greenhouse because it was too pricey to buy the green plastic tray and ship to Canada. Thanks for figuring out the dimensions for me!πŸ₯°

  10. Now THIS would be amazing 'Garden Answer Swag' !!! With a small logo burned in the back of the tray! πŸ™‚

  11. I wanted a potty tray so bad but I thought $60 was overpriced. I love this soooo much better. I'm going to go real rustic and use whatever I have on hand and hope for the best. Thanks for the inspo!!!

  12. I mean practical yes, with its intended purpose, however if u used this as a container as a gift basket for a gardening friend I would be fabulous too
