  1. Bewitched potato vine is one of my favorites too. They don’t sell out as quickly as any of the green ones but they are more compact, still grow large but don’t run amuck like others

  2. Lol, get them now because they will be sold out😂
A week Before the geranium video I had an order I was putting together and the geranium I had on my list was sold out.
Company mentioned it was mentioned online and they abnormally sold out very quick. thanks.

  3. Laura it's so funny – I work at a nursery and you can tell which of our customers watch your videos. I've been watching you for years now, and during the planting season I always make sure to watch your videos before my shift. It's guaranteed that at least a dozen customers will come in and ask for the plants you specifically mentioned that day. Nice to have a heads up beforehand to learn plant care info for varieties I haven't personally tried. Thanks for all that you do!

  4. Loved this video – but could you please do one on ground covers? Are there any perennial ones?

  5. Unfortunately, all of the garden centers in my area…northern Vermont…no longer have annuals from Proven Winners due to their “pot” controversy. I can get them at big box stores occasionally but they are never cared for like the garden center plants. I tried several “dupes” but none performed as well as PW.

  6. Who else opened up their notes app and started making a wish list?! I told myself last year that I wouldn’t buy annuals but start my “color” from seeds, which I already have, but gracious these are pretty, and now I’ll be on the hunt and put these somewhere! Gorgeous! Thanks Laura! ❤

  7. These are beautiful annuals. It’s helpful when you can see them after they have grown for a while. We have so many deer so hearing a plant is deer resistant is great. Thanks for the info😊

  8. Would the Bewitched After Midnight plant do well in part sun or would it need full sun? I have a place on the west side of The house but then it eventually gets shaded out by a row of trees. Would 4 hours of sun be enough?

  9. Laura please please please make a video about this topic you mentioned at 6:02
I have dreams of a symmetrical parterre garden but I cannot cut my neighbor's trees down.

  10. I wish we could do petunias in the ground here (western Washington) They are slug magnets. Even in some pots, they will climb up and they will be gone in no time. I have to find pots that are anti slug.

  11. I never had this happen before, but two varieties of begonias somehow ended up in a couple hanging pots midway through the summer last year. I’m guessing by birds, but it was a mystery how that happened.

  12. Does "attracts butterflies" also mean budworms? I'm having big issues with them every summer here in Spokane. Thanks 😊

  13. Those superbena look amazing. I need some blue in my back garden. Also, I tried the vista collection over the past 3 yrs and cannot seem to get the water right, I replaced them with orange and yellow begonia's. My garden rule is that if the plant needs too much attention, and is too needy, out it goes….

  14. Good morning! More new plants to put in my garden! This will be a good planting season.

  15. I’d like to suggest that instead of putting some screening —a hanging cloth or drape, a wood door of some kind, etc— to hide the pipes under the sink in your glass house, I urge you to just paint everything matte black. I have a similar visual eyesore near my very large potting bench in my garage. Visible pipes and water hoses were so prominent that I was pretty sure just painting them wouldn’t solve the problem. But, paint is so inexpensive I tried it and I must say, the whole mess just miraculously fades into the background. I’ve found no other remedy is needed. Try it! Matte black.

  16. I love the blue superbena! It does so well for me two! You should try sunpatience, just like begonias they perform well in shade and sun, atleast in my garden they did so well.

  17. I wonder if Laura will have a perennial or annual named after her in the near future…
🌹🌷🌻🏵️🌸 After years of informative videos and increase in sales especially with PW, she certainly deserves it.

  18. Hey, Laura! There are so many water soluble fertilizers out there Could you explain the difference between them and what to look for in one? For example, all purpose vs. super bloom, veggie, etc.

  19. Do sweet potato vines do better in a shade spot or sun spot? I have an area I would like to plant up beside a shed, but it is in shade most of the day and wasn’t sure if those plants would do well. Most tags I find just say shade/sun without much detail.

  20. Can you recommend annuals that don't attract pollinators for an outdoor dining area? Thank you.

  21. Yes, yes! Imperial Blue is gorgeous. Incredible blue color. Had it for the first time last year when I couldn't find the purple amethyst. Definitely recommend. Also, I made sure to ask my greenhouse friend to make sure they ordered the persimmon supertunia. She already had and was just as excited about it as I was. All thanks to you!

  22. The groundhog just announced there is 6 more weeks of winter😢. But I will be ready for it because of your videos. Doing my winter sowing and the geranium seeds now. 🥰

  23. oh my.. come on spring!!! i want to be outside in the sunshine! love all these.. hope i can find PW plants this year down here!!! 🥰❤ thanks for the video!! 🥰❤

  24. It was great knowing you planted 9 of the Bewitched after midnight Sweet Potato Vine plants to create the show at the chicken coop. I was truly amazed at the sheer number of plants you use both in landscape (in one area) and containers, now have to train myself to choose multiple plants when I see them. It was very helpful to know the numbers to create the look and the swoop!

  25. Good morning Garden Answer! They really performed for you Laura, I remember them in the landscape and they were gorgeous! Thank you for your help in choosing flowers!
Have a blessed day everyone ❤️🤗

  26. I have a verbena (no idea of variety) I planted years ago in flower bed here in North TX. Butterflies love it. I had sweet potato vines come back last year also..so surprised. Love love your place & appreciate all the videos. Keep up the great work!

  27. I bought superbena Imperial Blue last year after watching you. I have multiple plants that are still alive after many multiple nights into low to mid 20 degrees and a big ice storm at Christmas. At this point, I'm leaving them in to see if they start blooming again in spring. They sure are behaving more like a perennial here in Vancouver, WA zine 8b. Wow! Super impressing plant!!
