The benches are lovely and a great choice for that space. More importantly though, I want to know if those rolls of cardboard/box braces became swords or bats? 😂 That was my first thought when you were unboxing them. Way better than the empty wrapping paper tubes. My brother and I would’ve had a blast with those as youngsters. 😊

I was told to oil anything teak with oil for that wood. Will you do it ?

Oh my! The benches are beautiful! Very classic. I have a set of teak chairs that have become a beautiful grey color in our dry climate. (Zone 9A) I laughed when you got excited about the cardboard. I had just laughed at myself for thinking “I want the cardboard!”

Hi, just subscribed. I planted a lemon seed in a small pot about 2 years ago as just a joke to see if it sprouted. It did and now I have a 2 1/2 foot tall tree in my spare room under a grow lamp. Can't put it outside I live in Amish Land Pennsylvania and in an apartment. I don't want to just throw it out. Any suggestions?? How long can it stay indoors.???? ✝️✌️🌷🥀🌹

It made me smile to see how happy you were to get those benches. You just lifted them suckers up and rolled right over there with no thought of how heavy it was. It made me laugh when Cheddar had to check them out and get a good view inside the Harley. Can you feed that fodder to the cats? My cat is always nibbling on fresh greens outside.
I get a lot of wind too, blowing a lot of dust around up here in Alberta. Do you need to wash off your outdoor furniture regularly, like these new benches that are outside when the dust storms blow by?

Oh, these benches look really nice and they change the garden from “look at me” to “come and be part of it”. On a very different note: would you put a time stamp on your videos at teh beginning, so when we re-watch old videos, we have an idea about the timing? It could matter when it comes to seed starting and planting. THX
Do I understand you aren't going to protect wood even with sealer or stain? If you don't, do you know if will get the blackening gray color or will it stay this pretty color?

Those benches will age beautifully and add warmth to the seating areas. I would add a very large bowl shaped water feature that is low to the middle of the four boxwood quadrants. This would keep all of the sight lines open from every direction and add some interest (and sound) without competing with the Hartley or the views. Excited to see this space continue to evolve. 😊
