  1. Wow! I want to do this!! OK… please show me what to do once they come up! Yes, i know… plant them in the ground. But when??New gardener here! 😊

  2. Laura, would winter sowing work in 9b? We get cold snaps here and there but then back into the 70’s/ 80’s.

  3. I planted some Leprechaun Gold columbine outside yesterday and a couple of cells in the refrigerator to see which one does better. I might try a few in a jug too, just to have another technique to try. The jug method was a complete failure for me last year, but the drought has moved here too and Feb was crazy busy. Plus, it could have been all me not keeping the misted enough or maybe it was because they were on the southside of the deck. Idk, it was a growth experience, not for the plants, but for me. 😉

  4. Yeah — easy peasy. Then a giant wind blows the jugs away like Dorothy and her house and dumps all the seedlings out all over. Sadness. And yet, thinking about snapdragons this year.

  5. Hello sweet baby. If you have pots then you can cut the bottom of the milk jug off and place over the pots. This removes the taping step of the process. Additionally the black pots should warm up better assisting in GermanNation.

  6. Heavy machinery stuck a problem-nope! Aaron to the rescue🤣. Laura even thought about bulb planting🤣🤣. The cats are enjoying the weather and I enjoy seeing them!

  7. Great interesting, educational video, with everything so clearly explained, but, as always, the cat fight was the highlight.

  8. Hello 😂💕😋🤡👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨💪🤞🏻💋👄👅❤💚💝👑👠Laura and what's this…

  9. Do you save your jugs from year to year? I did this last year and saved my jugs and wonder if I could reuse? Worked great and can’t wait to do this again.

  10. I was like Laura and said “maybe not this year” now I’m doing it😂sometimes just need Laura to motivated us🎉❤

  11. Thanks Laura,I have 5 varieties of poppy seeds to try out.I also still have other seeds too, here’s hoping .

  12. I've been winter sowing for 3 years and it works great! I start almost all of my seeds outside now. Zone 5b

  13. Would you mind telling us the brand name or the sprayer again? I remember you said it one time, but now I can't find the paper I wrote it on!!! What's new…..lol…… I would like to try this. I did buy some of the flowers that you were planting yesterday. The ones you soak for 3/4 hours. Can't wait to get them!

  14. great info! i tried this but we are (usually) so hot and dry that i had lousy luck 😂 however you do inspire me to find a spot to plant artichokes… the winter sowing also looks like a great project for kids.. so fun to watch seeds go from little ‘things’ into beautiful plants! 😊❤️ thanks for the video! 😊❤️

  15. Love winter sowing. This will be my third year and you were my inspiration. First year I did fifty five jugs and supplied the neighbour’s with plants. This year not so many as running out of room to plant. Thanks Laura!
