It is a wet and dreary January in The Bonsai Garden but there are still jobs to do. We had a blustery night and several plants were blown over. Join me as I survey any potential damage and make plans for the futures of my bonsai trees.

  1. The garden is looking great. I look forward to see what you do with mugo. Over in the UK do you all ever make crabapple pie? Just curious because I jad not heard of it until recently and was wondering if it is made elsewhere. 🤣🤣🤣

  2. Hi Jason,
I’m a newcomer to your channel, and love your videos. I was born in Yorkshire, and miss hearing my native tongue lol. Did you save any seed from that crab apple? That’s a beautiful tree!

  3. It's interesting that you mentioned the trees keeping their leaves. I was doing some research into this a while back, and the most popular theory as to why some trees keep their leaves has nothing to do with the weather but is to protect the new buds from grazing deer. I just thought you might find it interesting as a fellow tree geek! 🤣
