Create earthworm casting tea is a great inexpensive and organic fertilizer. Here’s how to make it using a 5 gallon bucket, one cup of earthworm castings, 1 tablespoon of molasses, and water. If you’re using city water, let it sit out a full 24 hours to allow the chlorine to evaporate. Let the mixture sit for 24 hours to encourage those microbes to multiply and feed off of the molasses. Stir every 6 hours or so. Use immediately after you reach the 24 hour mark. I used rain water that I collected in my trash can turned rain barrel. I just increased the quantities to meet my needs.

  1. Thank you for this info. I've been making a "swamp water" from David the Good, though I think it's an old Korean method. This is a much more simple version I can use my fresh worm castings and worm tea into.
