Looking at the new property looks like it will be easy to make a skate rink 😍 when we lived in the land of hockey our neighbor would frame up a rink with wood not sure what he used between the water and grass. We didn’t get a lot of freeze thaw in Minnesota.
I don't cook or bake so I don't watch those videos but I love watching you clean up dead voliage. It's so satisfying to see a clean garden bed even in the middle of winter. Love your family and the cats.
I feel like you’re already having your spring if compared to where I live in ND. Right now in zone 4 way too cold and too much snow to do anything like that. I miss having stuff to do. Oh well only a couple months lefts.

My grandson (2 months younger than Samantha Grace) was with me last 2 days and we, too, spent a lot of time outside ( near Seattle). 🌤 It's wonderful to be outside in January doing little garden chores.

Oh I’m so jealous. I’m in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 and there is no way I could do anything in any of my gardens right now. Covered with about a foot of snow right now. And I can’t wait to get into them!!!!
Have you considered a Spruce Christmas Tree with the root ball, since this one did so well in the Hartley & plant out? Your bird water feature would look really great in the middle of the plant shelf & you have an outlet to the right. It is lost on the floor.

I can't wait to see what seeds volunteer on the new property! The kids are so cute. Samantha asking fr more rides…so sweet! I loved her yucking and then being good with the scrub brush.

lol. You should get them power wheels for the kids. I am sure there's a power wheel john deere. They will be so ecstatic, especially if they get to do their own butterfly garden this spring. They will say, "I am just like mommy and daddy." Too cute.
