I’m totally confused now. I thought the beds were prepared for winter with leaves on top and a plastic covering and here you are putting in all these nutrients in January!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤷🏻♀️
Thanks Gary Happy New Year.
I am very interested in having a raised garden. It has to be organic, no toxins, Non GMO…. Do Galvanized tanks leach any chemicals.. I have heard there are concerns with the chemicals they use to adhere the zinc to the metal. Thanks
The big box stores Home Depot and Lowe's have never put any fertilizer on sale in my area of N.J. for the past two years.
I'm afraid to use the alfalfa because of Grazon. Seems to work for you, though.
Your the best.
use 12% feed instead of alfalfa it has many micro nutrients including copper calcium zinc magnesium
My dogs love the alfalfa pellets so I have to keep the areas fenced off where I've scattered them…just FYI for anyone with pets.

Great refresher on the alfalfa. I still have the bag from years ago in the home garden. They did get moths and some spiders in the bag however, any ideas for that? I wonder if the water got in there as well but I assume the pellets are still rich in nutes.
would it be a good idea to cover the layers with a sheet of cardboard till you are ready to plant?
