We set out on this canoe trip with one goal in mind… We wanted to see some moose!
So we went about choosing a route through Algonquin Park, which included, what we believed to be some prime moose habitat.
Join us on this Algonquin canoe trip, as we quietly explore rivers, creeks, and wetlands, searching for one of Canada’s most iconic and elusive wild animals, the moose.
If you enjoy wildlife, this film is for you! As well as seeing nearly a dozen moose, we also saw lots of ducks, loons, herons, a beaver, and a muskrat!
If you enjoy our films, it would mean so much for you to subscribe, share, and like!

Fortunate trip with so many moose sightings! Awesome.
That is a pile of Moose! We have seen our share of Moose but never that many in such a short time span. Always a joy to watch your trips and share your perspective of mother nature.
Wow! Thanks for doing the work required to bring us along. We love coming along. Happy paddling friends!
I’ve been paddling for over 50 years now. And, better than most, you guys show why the pull of the paddle stays with you. Thanks so much.
I hope you weren't offended by my little 'poem' last night, it was all in good humor, no offence intended, love you guys…cheers!
Hello my friends! Very nice images from nature. I enjoyed this outing in nature with you. Extraordinary and the making of the film.
Congratulations! 👍
Just what I needed for a cold winter day.
I have waiting impatiently for a new video! Lol. After receiving 5 ft of snow over Christmas, this video was perfect timing!
Excellent job as always!
Happy New Year Keenan, Ashley, Hugo and Betty-lou!
Looking forward to more videos ❤
Wooow, that was seriously beautiful!❤
Love the nature shots! What type of stork was that? I'd easily say that was one of the highlights.
I love how you have captured the serenity of Algonquin and also the fantastic job of showcasing the wildlife in the park. Wonderful film making!
Amazing! What a treat guys, especially that mature Titan near the end of your trip🐮Thanks for sharing!😊
Great job guys, thanks for those amazing moments
I love this site. You 2 do a wonderful job! The one thing I can't understand is why you have to book a site!! I live in central N.Y. and do a lot of tripping in the ADK park and there are times when I have to decide to take another site do to time, weather and even injuries! I'm so glad down here it's first come first served! I believe that's the way it should be!!! Just my opinion!!!
Moose on the loose for sure, enjoyed and we are looking forward to seeing your winter adventures… well done
Nice. I feel guilty having a High Life, while being engrossed in the video. Nobody to drink with neither, I didn't see any flasks? Thanks for sharing.
Beauty, ahh so nice to see and hear the spring birds, the bugs didn’t seem to bad either. We’re snowshoeing into our camp tomorrow morning, stay till New Years. 1.5 km walk in but, just like your trip here,so very worth the effort. Merry Christmas, all the best in 2023, we look forward to your trips. Take care. , Bob
Not enough words to describe such beauty!! You guys do an amazing job capturing nature in its fullness. Oh how I hope your channel explodes with new viewers, you so deserve it. Such a treat to watch in the cold of winter. Hit that "like" button all who are watching let's get these videos out there for Keenan & Ashley! Happy New year to you all!!
That is a lot of Moose!. Great film guys. That meal on the third night looked super tasty, what was that?
Love your videos. Can you let me know the brand and model of the bug net/room you used under your tarp?
Be careful, you could be canceled for mis-gendering that moose with a Mr. or Mrs.🙃
Awesome video!!! Algonquin is always such a great adventure!!
Thanks for taking me along on this wonderful trip 😅 do you tie your dogs up at night?
I had to laugh when I saw you and Ashley enjoying that beautiful evening on Big Bob. I have stayed there twice and both times the winds were so bad I set up the tarp as a wind break. And yes a trip to Algonquin doesn't seem complete w/o a moose sighting.
You guys are so lucky to have all the routes you have to up there. I am fortunate to have the ocean but I love canoeing the back country so much more. Great video!
YouTube recommended your channel, and I’m glad they did. Me and my husband are watching your videos, we’ve subscribed and look forward to more videos. I love seeing moose because I think they’re my spirit animal.
What time of year did you take this trip?
Loved the video, thanks for sharing. Wonderful video of the wildlife in the park. Your video brought back memories of my own canoe trip in that area in 2021. I've done those two beastly portages, I was solo. Don't think I'd do them again, but Devine was beautiful….so you never know!
Oh, I loved this. So peaceful to watch. Thank you for taking us along. ❤
Beautiful guys . Happy holidays from cold Sweden 🤜🤛🙏
I am not sure that people understand how very likely it is to see a moose in Algonquin. My sons saw their first ones on a trip out of Kiosk. I shared a cow visit with my dad one year, then a bull was in our path when we headed up to Big Crow the next year, plus a cow and calf the next day. If you go there, into the back country. You will see them, and it probably will not take two visits to see your first one. It is a wondrous site. The beaver, canada geese, loons, great heron, chipmunks, raccoons, and porcupines are all extra, no charge. Thanks for taking us on this trip.
Epic production as always! I really enjoyed this one, it was quite magical.
My husband and i loved watching your video.
What a great adventure to end the year…..seeing all these "moose" just made my day. Great job, as always, you two!
Wow thanks for sharing this great video!
Amazing Video guys!! The wild life on this one is epic 👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks again Guys. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎊. Question ❓ Ashley ever thought about making an eBook? "Canoe the North, Dehydrated meals"??? Have fun Guys.
Wow ..just wow. What a beautiful trip love your channel 🌲
I was on big bob the July 9th weekend this year. Didn’t see any moose but I did find that Coleman shower and bring it home. Beautiful lake but the seagulls woke us up at 4:00 every morning.
Amazing!!
So relaxing almost feel asleep watching.
Another good one. Thanks.
Just found your channel today. Great shots, commentary, and of course amazing scenery. Cant wait to see more in the future
