๐ผ Off the silver screen, Daniela is a biologist interested in the ecology, behavior, and evolution of social insect societies, mainly honey bees and wood ants. She completed her doctorate (PhD) in honey bee genomics and behavior at the University of California, San Diego in 2022.
๐ผ Currently, she is completing a UC Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Riverside with Dr. Jessica Purcell’s research group, studying supergene evolution in a native wood ant.
๐ผ Daniela strongly believes in the importance and value of science communication and education and strives to make science both accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience. Her science communication style is broadly influenced by theater, dance, spoken word, comedy, and telenovelas.
๐ผ She is also currently working on developing STEAM educational programming for the incarcerated communities of southern California as part of a larger prison-industrial complex abolition project. She is interested in developing courses that use zines as learning tools to promote interactive engagement with scientific topics.
๐ผ When sheโs not analyzing DNA sequences, you can find her papercrafting, gardening, foraging for wild mushrooms, hiking in Death Valley, or looking for horned lizards in San Diego’s beautiful chaparral and desert regions.

I subscribed to your channel. I really enjoyed this video. I have the big vertical seasonal from Michael's as well. I haven't started using it yet. However, you made the Disney seasonal look so cute, I went to the HP site and luckily used my pointed and purchased that one also to switch it up like you did. I thought it was so cute! I placed my first order from Cafecito a few days ago. I heard about them from my friend Yureli. Do you know of her channel? Oh, yes, I think the new name will be better!

Iโm an attorney and need my planner for adhd survival. Once, during a heightened hearing, the victim (a 40-something woman) side-eyed my happy planner. I was worried she lost confidence in my abilities. Instead, she approached me after and gushed about her HP sticker collection! โค
It may be helpful to change your channel name to your name, in case you change directions in the future. You can mix them together.
