   The young sweet potato leaves (top young growth) are very good for salad. Sweet potato leaves are high of iron and fiber. Also, good for lactating woman. When I was a kid my father used to have sweet potato farm. When we harvest the sweet potato, we don't remove all the vines, we let it grow for a year ( but that's from tropical country, but I guess in US you can't do that due to the cold weather ). We only dig and remove the bigger sweet potato then we leave the small one to further grow.

   Love that screen idea!! Neighborhood rats and possums are the only things that keep me from planting sweet potatoes. I’m so scared of them I never tried. Now I can 😊 thanks!

   That was a pretty cool idea to use the rabbit wire for them to grow through. Makes a great way to remove the vines. Nice harverst
