  1. Why go barefoot?… Earthing! Earthing (also known as grounding) refers to the discovery that bodily contact with the Earth's natural electric charge stabilizes the physiology at the deepest levels, reduces inflammation, pain, and stress, improves blood flow, energy, and sleep, and generates greater well-being. 🌱⚕

  2. I loved your church decorations!!!!!! Beautifully done by you❤ Happy Holidays to all of your family!

  3. Laura, love your church display and the way the doors and window boxes turned out. I really love the red berry wreaths. I don't like commenting on your personal appearance, but I love your hair color today. I know the sun does thing to your hair, but your natural color is beautiful on you. My eyebrows are still dark brown even though all my head hair has turned gray…weird how out bodies work sometimes. I totally agree with you – all pots should come with a matching saucer, and I don't like having to pull a drill out to open the places they designate on the bottom for holes – if you want them. There should be a better way.

  4. It’s interesting how our language/communication changes over time (it’s called lexicon in the world of linguistics).
As a mother I saw “like” was the conversation filler. Or “totally”. Now it’s “you guys”.
When a waitress referred to me and my female friends years ago “how are you guys doing tonite?” I was appalled.
I realized we’re just bodies. Not people. So sad!
I appreciated a viewer asking for a “Hi Everyone” instead of “Hi Guys”. It makes a difference. I HATE being called Ma’am. Ugh! And many men don’t like being called “Sir”.
Maybe it’s a class thing. Hate that!
You don’t have to call me anything unless by my name. If you don’t know my name, no problem. If I don’t know your name yet, it’s ok.

  5. the window box red berries are from the Ilex bush/tree…Ilex berries is correct term..thanks for your content and warm way…..Bob

  6. I agree with Aaron about a rubber plug in the bottom of a flower pot. I have a few pots like that. It makes them so versatile!!

  7. I love your hair dark for the winter, zi just love your Sunday recaps. You and Aaron are so cute together Justa chatting about the week.❤️

  8. I understand your impathy for the atheist person. But given the chance to save her from damnation, you are responsible to witness to her the truth! That's the problem with so called Christians they don't want to offend anyone and try to make their own truths. You've had several chances to thank God in your responses but fail to do so. Everything you have comes from him! Peace be with you.

  9. Regarding saucers for every pot- I agree that most smaller pots need saucers but at my house, I don’t have saucers under my deck and porch pots because the mosquitoes breed in the tiniest amount of water. They are elevated with feet off of the surfaces so they dry, but no saucers!

  10. I’m a fl girl but one Christmas we went to grand parent’s house in NY. We played fox and cheese on a frozen creek with paths created in the snow on top. We didn’t have skates.

  11. And then you display the products!!!
Don’t get me wrong…I use some of them. But I don’t appreciate the blatant nor subliminal influence. Really creepy.
Guess I’m soon to be a non-subscriber. Only thing I love now is your cats. But I’m an indoor-only cat advocate! After working at an animal shelter in Pasadena, CA.
We’ll see how I can continue subscribing.
I guess what bothers me the most is the virtue display. How do you REALLY benefit your community? It’s seems adding to landscape at community college, giving away food at parents’s business, church display, and giving to employee’s pigs is a really good start.
But on the grand scale it is a drop in the bucket.
You might want to reflect on these things with humility. BTW I’m not perfect.
Carolyn/Vermont Cat Lady (my cats Awesome and Amigo eat raw turkey or chicken) Most of my cats live past 20 years, healthily!Awesome!
You feed dry food, I assume. Because it’s convenient? How about nutritious?
And NO to on-schedule (?) vaccinations. Revenue enhancer for vet.
    Oh my! What a concept!

  12. I bet if the Grand Garden Show did two shows back to back that both would sell out. Aaron, can you get on that please?

  13. PLEASE play the piano for us!!! I've gone back and rewatched the video of when your piano was delivered and you played us a little tune!!! You are GREAT!!!! Merry Christmas!!!

  14. I am amazed that anyone would call something in someone else’s garden DULL. YOU GUYS DO A GREAT JOB IMPROVING your area

  15. There is a company that ,they use a special plastic that they use in warm countries to build a skate ring. I would have to ask the name is from Switzerland

  16. Yes, please Laura, I'd love to hear you play the piano. Video or audio, any way would be so nice. Another thing I have to mention. We all tune in to watch Garden Answer created by Laura & Aaron. You 2 are amazing and are creating your dream property. You know, as you go along what is right for you. And if viewers have followed you for years. Then they know you've had plans for the walkway around your home for years. It must be a bit funny to read some "how to" comments. Keep on being true to yourselves. It's a joy to watch the whole Garden Answer Family. 🙏🏻❄️🎄🙏🏻❄️🎄

  17. Never expected to “meet” someone else as ticky as I am. I can not even tell you how often I hear things like, “Leave it alone. It’s good”. No. It’s not. Something is wrong. Things like visual weight that is off, drive me insane until I can fix it. And you don’t use two of anything unless it’s a book end situation. Uneven numbers. Three, five or seven are visually pleasing. Very nice to “meet” you!

  18. If your neighbors Laura and Aaron are curious about your property they can always watch your videos 😁

  19. To the comment about planting trees or bushes in place of the large pots, I love the pots because you can switch them up seasonally. You always make them so beautiful.

  20. My Daughter tried to order me a sweatshirt for Christmas. She doesn’t watch the channel and got scammed. The bank gave her back her money but you really have to watch. She said it looked right to her. It’s a shame what people will do for money!

  21. Laura you spent the same amount of time making excuses for not playing on the baby grand as it would to play a little bit for the sweet person's birthday wish. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.

  22. Always love the recap videos. My request for this week is something that I have been hoping you would do for us ever since you bought it. Please, please, please play a little piano for us. Aron is right we aren't asking for a piano recital, just a little Laura music.

  23. You put in so many hours on the decorations for your church and it was gorgeous!! Yet there will always be those you have to point out something so simple as an upside down exclamation mark.. seriously people… Laura and Aaron do so much for their community… lets try to PRAISE not criticize or point out tiny errors… geez! Thank you to your entire family for all you do!❤️

  24. Aaron, Mr. Big Idea/Business Man, I am surprised that you have not worked up a clay/concrete pot and saucer buisness. I absolutely love how you two are. I know we only see what you allow us to see but it is funny and heart warming.

  25. I'm in COMPLETE agreement on the pot and saucer business… what the heck are they thinking? I'm also so thankful that you're continuing to say "hey guys"….I was hoping you wouldn't change that, would seem strange to start my day with anything else. Thanks for being a blessing in my life! (Also, I'm currently building myself a greenhouse from vintage windows that's attached to my house… so I'll keep you posted on the merits of having it attached. 😉)

  26. I love the espoma fertilizer outside and don't use anything else. The indoor stuff is SO much more expensive than anything else though and I just can't do it!

  27. In that portico, your main entrance, what about red or warm white lights on a rope or Christmas lights inside the ceiling of the portico. I think it would be a welcoming ambiance by brightening your entrance.

  28. I laughed out loud……Did you know that it's "The Weary World Rejoices"?…..Laura……"Yes, I knew but it just didn't work for me" 🤣

  29. I wish we could get Espoma Organics in New Zealand! Such a good range that we just don’t have here. Espoma products seem well tailored and high quality.

  30. My husband Robin and I met and talked with you both briefly at the Proven Winners conference at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island a few years ago. Since then, I watch your videos every morning with a cup of tea. As a gardener, of course I'm interested in your gardening projects, but I also like when you make recipes and use ingredients from your gardens; and my very favorite videos are when you & your mom (and sister) go antiquing, because that's also what I love to do.

I really enjoyed the video about creating this year's Christmas stage display for your church, and decided to comment. I've been nervous since leaving my comment about being an atheist because I thought that you both (and your followers) would be offended and react badly to it. So imagine my surprise and delight when you chose to read it in this recap video! Laura, your sweet response really touched me and brought tears to my eyes. Robin was also quite impressed, and we both thank Aaron for pulling it for you to read and you for responding so gracefully to it. 💗
