On the night of August 10th 1993, as Colin settled down into his bed he was awoken by a noise. He sat upright and strained his ears. Once again, he could hear heavy footsteps on the ground outside. He held his breath and reached for his rifle. The footsteps stopped and Colin heard loud sniffing and occasional snorting. Suddenly a loud noise made Colin jump. It was the sound of a #bear placing a heavy paw on the door of the trailer. As it rapped on the door, the trailer shook, and Colin raised the rifle.
Something, or someone, had enticed the bear to the trailer that night. Perhaps it was the smell of the meal that Colin had cooked on his stove wafting out through the windows. Perhaps it was the leftovers in the trash can a short distance away. Or, perhaps, it was Colin himself. The bear had investigated the area each night, becoming bolder and bolder. It was curious and it was hungry.

The guy couldn't reload fast enough because he had a 30-30 or a 30 06 rifle needed at least a 357 or 38 special or 45 with them also to keep those animals at Bay
I had heard that he had been really sick and he had hit the bear in the midsection
People insert theirselves into the wilderness and then blame the wildlife for intruding on the humans
I'm not sad at all. You want to exploit and destroy nature, you get what you have coming to you.
Why ever did he shoot two rounds and not immediately reload??? Just crazy. And why ever does he only have 2 rounds to shoot before reloading???
Bear Country= Their Country what a tragic, sad, & very chilling story. makes you really think about how patient & methodical that bear was to stalk him & come after him in such a way. No one deserves such a horrific end, may he rest in peace š¹
bear country = gun country
Bear spray. Boards with nails through them around camper. Electric fence. Pray has to be smarter.
I hate stories, your channel will be blocked on my page
Love your editing style and the way you tell stories!
Is good that they shot the bear
Not much of a outdoorsman being that unprepared knowing bears are around every night..
Yup we wanted to go fishing
City boy's
Lucky we were armed out of no where we were attacked by a bear
My buddy blasted it.. IT TOOK!!!! 7 rounds to bring it down… very scary.
We killed 3 more coming around us…
After that nothing bothered our fishing trip…
But let me tell you they are viscous killers and would rip your babies out of your hands..
Cornpop says all you need is a double barrel shotgun
And we should band AR 15s huh????
āScene of the crimeā
Like bear š» give a š©about our lawsš
His problem wasn't that he shot the bear his problem was that he didn't shoot it enough
Ha ha ha ha
Whoever did the job counting bears in Colorado – fire them.
From 10 to 20 000 is a bit big range don't you think? š
I guess they got 20 000 of pictures of bears in Colorado and : "hm is it 20 thousands of unique bears or it's just the same 10 bears that was photographed 20 thousands times?"
I guess we don't know for sure, hey Jimmy, put 10- 20 000 in the report and will be done for the evening.
We Can Ignore It, But It Wonāt Ignore Us Isaiah 55:10-11 KJV

Time out for foolishness!
It would be wise if we would allow the main thing to be the main thing in our lives as we journey through this land.
Wasted years, wasted years, oh how foolish, donāt go on in this life of sin and shame, turn around, turn around, God is calling, heās calling us from a life of wasted years.
The main reason Jesus came to earth, āthe second Adam, the Lord from heavenā, was to die for our sins, and to pay a debt He did not owe, āRomans 6:20-23ā we owed a debt we could not pay, we needed someone to wash our sins away, āMatthew 1:21; St. John 12:27-32ā.
Jesus Christ bled and died on Calvary, because he loved us so, he tasted death for everyone of us to save us from going to this place which was prepared, āIsaiah 14:10-17; 5:13-15; 66:23-24; Psalms 9:17; Rev. 21:8āfor the devil and his angels:
But many have decided to cater to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life, and to join the devil and his angels into everlasting damnation and outer darkness, by spurning, ignoring, the grace, of God which has appeared to all men. Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Titus 2:11-12.
Trust we heed the warning, for our lives as we know it on earth, will soon be gone, oh how sad, to face the judgment, unprepared to meet our God. Please donāt ignore this great salvation, so full and free, āSt. John 14:6; Acts 1:8; 2:38; 4:10-12; Ephesians 4:5; Colossians 3:17.

Shouldn't been there in the first. Don't harm the bear, treat it as a hurricane or natural cause… Loggers, go log in the city just like everybody else.
I bet if he had his chainsaw by his bedside… it would have been a different ending entierly.
Very surprising for a bear eat their preys alive. Normally they kill with no pain, they cooked in midium fire and they wait until taste smokey šš»
Yeah, while I also carry a hunting rifle, a .44 magnum or maybe 9mm couldāve helped in deterrence. I donāt seek to kill these animals but neither am I willing to become easy prey for them.
This is why semi automatic guns and rifles are necessary
Another excellent story Mr Fierce! Sad but we need to realize these apex predators are hungry and we are probably on the menu šŖš¤
When talking Colorado, how about not showing the Tetons and the Snake river?
Bearā¦.sounds more like Sasquatch to meā¦.just saying
I'm not ever leaving my a-p-a-r-t-m-e-n-t!
I'm feeling really sad right now, Just sad for this guy
R.I.P Collin you will be missed, If anything I'd rather die from a wolf attack but I don't know the pain of
just getting bitten
Bear country without a gun nearby?
WHAT??!! How come there are so many details ,when there was nobody there to witness what happened??? That is not posible!!
Seems to me a pistol would do better than a rifleā¦
The guy had to reload…what an idiot. Didn't he know about magazine with bullets….
He was smart up to the point of the clawing at tue door shoulda had a full mag n an extra smh shame he couldnāt of gotten that kill he woulda been feasting on some good bear meat š lesson learn always have a full mag unless he had a bolt action rifle then u gotta be more accurate lol š
So sad. I live in the north east by Philadelphia. Never saw a bear out in the wild. The part about no time for another shot is hard for me to understand. I see a lot of these stories and most of the bear victims donāt even have a gun. We are all different I understand but if I was in a trailer in bear country my trailer would have at least an ar or ak handy. 12 gauge pump by the bed. 357 mag revolver probably strapped on my body while sleeping. Like I said so sad
I'm Alaskan, and ive had more than 5 bears break into my house growing up, but they always just broke in to get to our meat freezer(most people in Alaska stock up on meat and fish to last through the winter, and put it in a deep freezer.) We kept our deep freezer in our garage, so luckily they never broke into the actual house, only our mud room/garage.
I did have one big momma grizzly bear go into my big plastic play house, but she quickly got stuck and couldn't turn around, and she ended up busting the whole play house apartš¤£
I've also come in contact with hundreds of bears, so they honestly don't scare me, I know I'm safe if I'm smart. Honestly, the guy leaving his camper in the same spot, despite seeing bear tracks around it every morning, was just a bad move. Once he saw that bears were checking out his living area, he should've moved it. I've always been told to NEVER cook where I sleep, so the fact that he kept his camper parked the whole time, despite cooking in his camper daily, just seems dumb to me. You should never EVER cook food where you sleep if you're in bear countryš¤·āāļø
The lesson is , get a high powered rifle with multiple rounds instead of haveto be reloaded every single shot!!
..so the thumbnail says "eaten alive" and has an arrow pointed at a bear..
..why would you eat a bear alive, you savage fuā¬k..
..humans are silly idiots..
WE are the nuisances!
Gun control is hitting what your aiming at. His only mistake was not putting one between the bears eyes.
At what point do you leave an area being stalked by 500lb hungry behemoths every night?? What did this guy have to defend his paper thin trailer, a musket??? No way I live in the wild with a single shot firing rifle, this is where having a AR 15 or AK 47 actually makes sense.
What exactly was the man's race because one minute y'all showing a black man next minute y'all showing a white man š¤ ?
āNuisance bearsā
Humans invading their natural habitat
!Bear must be killed!
Just wow. The stupidity and arrogance and entitlement that humans have to think they have the right to cross into dangerous animal habitats knowing the danger then get offended when nature kills them.
