Tokyo metropolitan Teien Art museum located in Minato City. It was built in 1933 as the residence of prince Asakamiya. It was opened in 1983, renovation in 2014. As unique art museum that harmonize the art deco building. It is also nice to visit during autumn when the leaves change colors and cherry-blossom viewing in Spring. A large lawn stretches across the South side of the art museum, where visitors enjoy reading under the trees or having picnics with families and friends.
The small Japanese garden also lies in the back of the museum grounds. This is a popular place, and it often has many tourists. The circuit around the Koi Pond offered many different views. At the top of a small hill is a lovely traditional Japanese tea house. where have a regular program of holding tea ceremonies several times of the year.
It’s 6minute walk from Shiroganedai Station of the Toei Mita line or the Tokyo metro Naboke line or 7minute walk from Meguro of the JR Yamanote line.
