I agree I am still not sure what day it is! But it’s good! I’m not ready for the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season! I’m giving myself until Wednesday to ease into some activities coming up on the weekend! Knowing there is food to be enjoyed is not taking anything for granted in my mind it’s because the blessing of the peace you now enjoy because you chose to plan, bought and raised those chickens that you have eggs to be gathered! 💖 Thankful

If you would like a puzzle recommendation I LOVE Charles Wysocki puzzles. They are cozy Amish paintings and ah, I just love them. It makes me want to jump into the painting and shop at a little Amish farmers market.

My family does puzzles year round and glues them for future framing to hang or give away. We love it so much that my daughter plans to have one on a table at her wedding reception. 🧩

Ok, so I’m like 37 seconds into this video and I just have to say: we love you, Chick. Your simple, soft, well informed, romantic, yet practical heart… you’re just adorable. Yeah, I’m an old lady, ( waaaaayyy older than you), but YOU, LITTLE MISSY,are who I would love to be when I grow up.
This evening I was just sitting out in my garden as the sun disappeared. I layed eyes on a bat swooping to and fro catching It's evening meal. It was only 1 but I enjoyed watching it. I didn't know that I could sow chamomile now. I will get some planted in tomorrow. I mixed kale and collards so good. Thanks Jess! Your awesome!!!

My single g❤uy neig❤hbor who thinks I’m nuts for having chickens, lamented today that eggs were almost $6/ doz today. I said to him….. my chickens are looking better huh?
Science wise. The mud isn't giving them the bugs and worms. Food sources could be effectived by the wet muddy areas for the chickens.

Our lives SHOULD be full of wonderful and joyful every day, should be beautiful and ordinarily extraordinary. What a wonderful day it will be when what's unusual is the moments that it's not.
Had a comfortable dream moment today so great timing. I had years of pain in my body and wishing for a house and space of my own. Today I planted a lot of tulips and some other bulbs, loaded in a truck load of wood, and did a bunch of meal prep. I am tired but not in pain, and I am thankful for the gift of healing and strength I have received

Have you made quiche? A deep dish pie crust, 6 eggs, some sausage or bacon, cutup young potatoes, chopped onion, chopped peppers, thyme, salt, pepper, and two cups milk. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. An easy breakfast and you can freeze these too.

I totally get it. When what you need is right out of your front door it's a beautiful thing. Not that you didn't work for it, because you most certainly did! But having it there is such an awesome feeling.
