Notice how everything can be made from something you can find nearby and no need to go and open the wallet and buy things. That's how the Chinese lived for thousands of years until Clinton sent all the American jobs to China. They manufacture everything for the whole world now. But when they're hard up notice they can go back to renovating a way of life that doesn't require money or at least not very much of it at all.
