I have been in commercial construction for 23 years. Not once have I seen anyone with Ridgid branded cordless tool. Not 1 single time. Ever. Now real Ridgid like stands and Power machines (threading machine) are a mainstay. This 3rd tier branding doesn't stand up to true Ridgid quality. Just lose the licensing and make it AEG. Lower the price. Still scratch your head and wonder where it fits in the lineup between Milwaukee and Ryobi.
HOPEFULLY the MOWER $ COST LESS then the MILWAUKEE M18 fuel and is made BETTER than the RYOBI
Wow this gave me chillzzz . And yes Ridgid please give us the mowaaaa!!
Got rigid power tools when I bought my house but I had to buy ryobi for outdoor tools. I'm so annoyed right now
Hey Clint what new tools is rigid tools what new tools come out cuz I see they have good tools! I think rigid wants Doo some cach up on there tools that is good bro!!
Better late than never I had ridge 10 years ago impact smoked out went to Milwaukee never looked back
Not a Ridgid fan, but it seems they're upping their game. I have invested in Ryobi, however, I've always questioned their reliability and their claims. I would prefer Kobalt, but they keep stagnating with their usual line up of tools mostly drills and saws. They hardly venture out and expand their line of tools.
I have been waiting for years…….too late, I already fill up my house and work with ryobi tool and some M12 Milwaukee…..ridgid line becomes my second line…..still no lanw mower, no cordless table saw and even cordless compressor (I am still using the tiny one cordless) am I just buying 12 ah battery just for vacuum??? if Ridgid offer garden tools now, so the snow tools will be available when my grandsonoh like 20 years later…..oh god.
Holy treated 6×6 with no pilot holes! This is big if my ryobi line tools ever die I’m going back into rigid !
looking forward to seeing that Auger tested 🙂
As far as Batteries are concerned. RIDGID needs to start using the 12700 cells in their battery packs. End of Story.
I too i'm a ridgid guy, i'm offered lifetime warranty and don't even take time to register my tools god damn it… that's how bad i trust these tools. But i have to admit that i have to open and "jump start" my batteries once in a while cause they can't charge.😒 anyone else?
Wow, promising line up right there… well, that's what i'm hoping for… You the best uncle✌️
This is awesome since I have more ridgid batteries than any of the others now we need a right angle impact wrench and I'll be happy.
I wondered which battery types 🤔🧐
Kinda late in the field when Ego dominates all the yard stuff
Another great video Clint. We appreciate you showcasing these new tools, especially those that already use the Rigid 18 volt platform. Looking forward to seeing 👀 your more detailed videos of each one of these new line of tools. 👍
Hi, could you help check your inbox on IG about the product sponsorship?
Been team orange for 15 years. And about 5 years ago, when Ryobi exploded, and Kobalt launched their OPE, and other companies were ramping OPE, ALL of us who were team orange and interested, made our choice in brand and invested hundreds of dollars in said platform. I personally jumped into kobalt 80v lineup. They have the same issue rigid has, slim/small/none in tool coverage, but powerful and great actual use. But as the life long Rigid fan, all I can say is this "too little too late". A weed whacker with only 12-14 inch coverage, a baby chainsaw with less than class power, bar size, but still similar size frame to just be useless, a less than powerful blower, that only beats it's previous blower and barely.
I will admit, that a battery powered auger, is exciting, as that is not a very common battery tool and I know I can put that joker to work easy. But it better come with power. At least enough to dig a few holes a homeowner can wait to recharge and go back the next day.
Mower, pft, again all battery ope ppl have mostly made their choice. They're literally 5 years too late. Pruner, wife might like it, but there are options, and at that price they're pricing themselves out the game.
Only other exciting news out of this, is the big 8 and 12 AH batts, for the job site saw and miter saw guys. Longer remote runtime for them.
Love the idea of a metal tip on the blower. I am always tempted to scrape stubborn dirt off when using my Ego blower but don't want to wear down the tip so this would be awesome!
Новое это давно забытое старое, електропила уже как 2 года под названием AEG.
Great videos. Love ridgid. About time there coming out with this stuff. I will definitely be getting the weed Wacker. Can't wait
Thanks for the information, just FYI, the 12” chainsaw had right in the specs, “comes with 6 amp hr kit”, shocked the post hole digger didn’t need 6 amp but you may be onto something that maybe doubles the voltage and/or run time. I have older 24 volt Ridgid kits, the tools were dual voltage, they run on 24 volt or 18 volt, really glad because they don’t sell 24 anymore. It was very short lived. 12 Ah, if they make it affordable, how cool would that be on things like the battery compressor?
