I plan on making my back yard a tropical paradise this coming summer and I am thinking Palms, Palms, Palms. Look into planting Alexander, fox tail and bottle palms with one or two coconut palms. They will make your front and back yard stand out. I like that palm hedge on your north side, it does the job of giving both homes privacy and beautifies the area.
